Every December the Valley Railroad Co, Runs the Santa Train, Its a 90 minute trip to the North Pole and back. We tried the first class ride. You sit in lounge type seats with a center aisle That is paraded by an entertaining elf that performs non-stop for the entire trip. This is a little price but if you have... More

We stopped at. the scenic. train rides to enjoy a relaxing trip along the railroad's lines to see the beautiful foliage that appeared along the way. The Naugy Scenic Train was a very enjoyable trip going back in time on the old trains. All had a good time and would do it again in the future. You can visit this... More

We went on the steam train and riverboat excursion on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. The steam train was great, authentic down to the interpreters dressed as period notables. We were in the parlor car so we were treated to snacks and a cash bar. The riverboat ride was uneventful. Accept for Gillette castle, there was not much to see. It... More

We took the steam train and riverboat tour during fall folliage season. The trees just light up in the crisp fall air as the sun shines down. For a treat we booked the front parlor car with swivel seats and beverage service. Also a great place for taking picture out on the deck at the end of the train car.... More

Been working right by this attraction for a few years and people seem to love it. I've taken the train twice and both times it was filled with happy children and it was a throwback to another time. Bit dusty of course but if you love trains and enjoying scenery at a slow pace this is for you.

We are steam train people. My husband & I met while working as engineer, firemen, conductors on a tourist steam train ride. We have been to the Valley RR many times before and have had a good time. The site is scenic, the train runs on time, folks are friendly, nice gift shop & snack bar. We often take the... More

I took my older granddaughter and young grandson on the Santa train. There were families and children everywhere. Lots of workers guiding people around. Boarded the train in a very orderly fashion. The noise level was loud and hearing the intercom was very difficult. Right after the train started moving in came Mrs. Santa Claus. All of the characters were... More
