Came here for dinner having never been before. Only waited 5-10 minutes for a table which was nice. The place is huge- 3 levels so would be hard for someone who couldn't do stairs. We waited a very long time for our drinks and waited a long time to order, and then waited over an hour for our food which... More

City Steam has been around long enough to get it right. Their food is always very good and served hot or cold, as appropriate. Beverage variety is tantalizing and enjoyable. The multi tiers are hard to take if one has difficulty with stairs.

Apparently we have been coming to the Brew Ha ha enough to be called a regular. Who knew? I won't argue. First, you have to be prepared to go downstairs to the comedy club. While that isn't a big deal for most of us, it would not be obviously handicapped accessible. Perhaps there is a back elevator. If you are... More

A group of us ate here after the UCONN game. Rd was good but they had to reheat my French onion soup as it came out cool. For some reason they added more cheese and turned it into a cheese ball. Broth was tasty so I just left a lot of cheese. Our friends food was very good. Wonderful building... More

Great Beers. I was in Hartford for only one night, and stopped in. I had the Black Ale, the Double IPA, and (I think) the Farmhouse Session beer. All were excellent. Good vibe, good service, and a good crowd. Also, the food was excellent. I had the deep fried pickles for an appetizer (happy hour prices), and then the Tuna... More

I'm sitting here In City steam brewery Hartford CT. Fantastic selection of in house brews. I had 'naughty nurse' and a 'Jungle pummel'. Bar girl was great, I was struggling to decide on a beer but was asked what beer I usually drink and given a sample of one to aid my decision, 5star service. Good atmosphere but more importantly... We drive from NC to Maine to visit family and stay at the Residence Inn in Hartford. This was our 2nd time for dinner. Beers are great...I normally don't like craft beers. The food is good with good sized portions. Service has been great both times.

Been here a few times and the food seems consistent quality. Food is good but nothing special here. I may not a beer drinker so maybe that is were they shine. Service was good and friendly staff. My fish and chips were tasty and my wife had fish tacos that she said were pretty good. In a city with such... More

Cool atmosphere and decent brews but that's about as far as it goes. Food was edible but not good at all. Every single thing was over cooked - nachos, burgers, chicken fingers, pizza. Even my son's pasta was burnt. I've never even seen that. If you can't boil pasta without burning it, you shouldn't be in the restaurant business. Side... More
