I did a takeout order and it was a great experience. Staff was very friendly and polite. They did have a slight problem with order. But the phone call fixed that. Will eat there again

We went to the restaurant because of it's proximity to our hotel (right next door) and the Bushnell Theater (a few blocks away), but we were happy to find great service and fanatstic food. On nights when there's a show, there's a slimmed-down menu (with plenty of choices) to ensure that you are "in and out" and don't have to... More

Good bbq, loved the eclectic ambiance, live music that was loud but the hostess asked if we wanted music or talk and seated us in a booth away from the band. Ribs were excellent. Cole slaw, great. Catfish, moist. Fun place.

The only place that I would go to for a southern jazz brunch. The food is delicious all the time. The best thing on the menu is the ribs. They have excellent side orders and desserts. There is something for the whole family. Their greens are delicious.

Went with work friends and the food was OK. The wait staff was very professional and friendly. I had the brisket and it was 75% fat with a little bit of meat. One of the ladies had mac and cheese and that was very good. The appetizers were good. The burger was very good and the salmon dinner. I wouldn't... More

Was looking for a restaurant that we had never been, chose this one out of our Entertainment Book actually. You walk in the restaurant and it looks like a blues club, interesting stuff to look at on the walls. The hostess sat us by the front window, which for us was kind of bad, they certainly need to replace there... More

This restaurant has a great selection of southern-stye food and beer. The shrimp & Grits and the Piglet Platter are both excellent examples of "down-home" style food. The portions are huge and the service was excellent! We will be back to sample more excellent food.

One of my go to places when meeting friends and family in Hartford. Good menu because everyone can find several things they like. Good flavorful food and generally decent portions. Vegetarians not as happy as meat lovers. Cannot beat the beans and rice, corn bread and my favorite, the fried chicken dinner really like the music. Decent service although it... More

Fun place with great food and beer selection. Sometimes bar tenders need reminding that you're at the bar .
