Stopped in for lunch and it was very busy. A few things going on in the city. But the host had it under control, and we were seated in about 15 minutes. Guess the manager didn’t realize with all the events going on he should have brought in more help. The waitress we had was servicing a full station. Anyway... More

This was a great place to hit after a quiet event at the Wadsworth. The cover band was good and the cornbread was excellent. My wife ordered the shrimp and grits and I had the chicken and waffles. The food was hot, fresh and tasty. To other reviewers who were seeking the French Quarter and NOLA, this isn't it. This... More

Convenient to the hotel next door and a nice looking place. Staff was very nice, but the server was inexperienced, kept forgetting things, running back and forth. Food was mediocre; big carb bombs, unevenly cooked dishes, rewarmed meats.

Parking in a lot across the street. Small resturant...but don't let the size fool you. BBQ and southern cooking at its best! Even live music! Waitstaff is so very friendly. Not over priced!

I was expecting so much more after reading the reviews. It was ok. Food was not bad and fair-good value for the price. The service was overall good.

I have attended this restaurant for a family gathering after my nephew's christening. Arriving the service was very warm, open, friendly and helpful. Dining at this BBQ/Soul food restaurant on multiple occasions it's never been an disappointment. Unfortunately, this visit was a disappointment...... everything went downhill after finding a blonde hair within my plate of food mix in with green... More

We came into town for a show and met some friends at Black Eyed Sally's for something to eat before hand. There... More

I don't have a lot of exposure to southern food but I heard someone talking about collard greens on the radio the other day and knew this place would have them, so I went in. Basically, I don't like collard greens. Not what I expected and not to my liking. But many people do! I tried the gumbo here too.... More
