Over the past 10 years, I've had the opportunity to eat at Vaughan's a handful of times. As always, it is wonderful!! Food is great! Every single time over the years, it is always great! Housed in an old building, the atmosphere is wonderful too!

What a gem in Hartford - was here for a trip with my cousin (who lived in northern England for six years) and we enjoyed dinner here the first night so much we came back. Twice! The atmosphere was very British isle, the food outstanding and the homemade Irish cream was well worth the return trips. Will definitely be back... More

Stopped in on a Monday night. The place was empty. Parking is either on the street (free after 6PM or meter before) or at a parking lot ($10). I got lucky and found a spot almost in front (the spots directly in front of Vaughan's are handicap). Bartender/Waiter was very friendly and helpful. Atmosphere is nice. The burger and brew... More

If the Irish are to be represented by wretched bartenders with bad attitudes and lousy food, then put away your passport. You've struck a pot of gold.

Really authentic Irish pub food - lamb stew was terrific. Number of drafts for happy hour and try the house made Irish creme - WOW!

Good food and service, lots of people, simple pub style food, very reasonable in price, well worth visiting. This place won't break the bank.

Vaughan's is fun. . Quiet, but fun. The best car bombs in Hartford. Tiffany was our waitress. She was awesome. Fun friendly, and upbeat. I couldn't imagine anyone better.

It's basic Irish style pub fare, well prepared, and some authentic Irish recipes. Decor very much the old fashioned Irish pub you might find in Letterkenny or Ennis. Good attentive service.

Decided a 2 hour wait was too long at City Steam, strolled across the street to Vaughan's. Nice atmosphere inside with quite a bit of seating despite a good Saturday close to St. Paddy's day crowd. Irish music wasn't too loud. Everyone like their burgers and my son loved the lamb stew. My portabella mushroom burger was very tasty. Overall... More

Worst Dining Experience of my LIFE. For my 40th birthday, and because I'm Irish, my wife's family took me to Vaughan's for a Rueben. It was the worst dining experience of my life. The food is excellent, but here were the problems: I ordered a Kilkenny's draft.... they were out. I ordered a clam strip app... they were out too.... More
