Gifford's is our go to place in Kent when we dine with family and friends. Great menu with something for everyone, nice presentation, excellent service. Always a hit with us.

Fresh options with a nice twist on everyday favorites. Love coming to this town as it is so picturesque New England. Nice food selection and service is always nice too.

Our first time back this season, and we were not disappointed. We were seated in the side room, which was a nice change. Our meal was excellent - we had the buffalo mozzarella and tomato salad, and the scallop and hangar steak entrees. All were...More

Delightful tony restaurant in the village of Kent. The menu is evocative and irresistible. I had a turbot on risotto that was out of this world. Due to the hard surface, but smart decor, it can be a bit noisy for intimate conversation. We asked...More

The service was excellent, as well as the food. I came with a group and we had a variety of appetizers, entrees, and desserts. There were no bad dishes.

Gifford's has a warm, comfortable atmosphere, especially near the fireplace. At a recent dinner with friends I had the Chana Masala, an Indian chickpea dish. It was a mountain of chickpeas topped with a few vegetables. It was tasty, although there was no sauce but...More

My friends live in Kent and every time I visit it's always the first place I want to eat. The best house made smoked salmon, caper cream cheese, everything bagel. Just a personal favorite but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu

The waitress was very attentive as my daughter has a life threatening allergy to nuts and less severe to soy . She made several trips to the kitchen to advise on safe options. The cocktail options were interesting and the wine list offered very reasonable...More

Fast service. Ordered a Cesar salad and Vietnamese salad. Both great. Penne pasta with cream sauce bacon and squash was great. Had a slice of coconut cake enough to share and a bargain at 5$. Festive decor and cozy fireplace.
