Service - (Thanks, Jason) - was excellent and the food was delicious. My wife had the cheeseburger, which she described as "one of the best" she has ever had and that is saying a lot for a cheeseburger connoisseur! I had the maki boat which was quite filling.

Their Chef has maintained a steady menu of food over the years I've eaten there that is superb. Steaks are cooked to taste and if you don't like it, send it back, they will get it right for you.

The food was not good and did not reflect an expensive restaurant quality pretending to offer fine dining. The service was poor as well. The restaurant OVERCHARGED my credit card after I have signed the check and left the place!

The very name indicates the atmosphere. Although a TV in the large bar area, there is another room that is quiet. The food was tasty, reasonable for this area, creative specials.

The food has always been outstanding and the service is great. Staff very friendly and always there to take care of you. One of our favorite placed in that part of the state.

On a sunny Sunday with nothing to do we decided to roam north west Connecticut. The plan was to "kill" a couple of hours than go to our favorite stop for a glass or two of wine and a good Caesar salad. Out of nowhere [well not really] this fine watering hole appeared. Ou, it looks expensive and la di... More

We waited over an hour for a few sushi rolls. Our server, Trevor, basically ignored us. Sushi as always was great...but a couple of birthday parties were more important than loyal customers.

Great variety and quality of food, good bar scenes and great for families and special events. The sushi is pretty good for this neck of the woods and the main menu is consistent year round.

This place has the best oysters and French onion soup(even gives you a scissors to cut the cheese) in Connecticut. The seafood and meat are also excellent. The sushi bar is second to none. Must go to place.

There are four of us day explorers and ready for a meal when we came across the Boathouse restaurant mid-afternoon during the week. We sat at a table by the fireplace. That was a nice treat. We had our meals for the day but started with eggplant Napoleon which is a single delicious treat that we recommend that two share.... More
