The Oyster Club is generally considered the favorite among most of our friends and neighbors. The meals are consistently excellent, with a selection bound to please anyone. Seafood is spectacular, fresh, and elegantly prepared.

First of all, I think the Oyster Club is the best restaurant in Mystic or for that matter Southeastern Connecticut. I've had dinner here a number of times and have never been disappointed. Three weeks ago, we decided to give Sunday brunch a try. Since then it's become a Sunday ritual. Let's start with the menu. As far as selections... More

Yeah about he best I've ever had and I've had bushels. Will go out if my way to visit anytime I am forced to take that awful nasty 95 route. The little detour to get here will make up for it. Superior service. Fabulous choices in both cocktails and oysters. Yeah. It's the place to go mid afternoon when the... More

Expecting tasty clam chowder in a pricey seafood-themed restaurant, instead we received two inedible bowls of ? The $10 "Rhode Island Clam Chowder" was really a bowl full of potatoes, some peculiar, astringent liquid that was hard to get down, and 4 microscopic specs of clams. The $10 "New England Clam Chowder" was also virtually devoid of clams, full of... More

Having had a good dining experience a year ago at the Oyster Club, we expected a sound culinary repeat. Regretfully not to be so. A highly touted New England clam chowder and a veal soup both arrived with undercooked rock- hard potatoes that detracted from the tastiness of the soups, both of which were also lukewarm. A request for bread... More

A group of us ate there. Sat in bar area. The fish selection was awful if you're familiar with fish: skate, fluke, monkfish - bottom dwellers - served with some dark wormy looking noodles. The only thing good on the menu was the hamburger and a pasta dish.

Fabulous waitstaff, innovative kitchen in rustic and comfortable surroundings. I ordered the lobster roll which was disappointing (apple butter on bottom of untoasted roll made it soggy). Rest of our party's meal was great. Dessert of almond cake was outstanding. The staff were very attentive even though restaurant was very crowded,

Overpriced! A simple salad & Chardonnay was way too expensive. Met a couple of friends & they thought the prices were high for the portions. Open room, so 2 women at another table were listening to our conversation. A large party came in & sat next to us, so it became impossible to continue our conversation. Waitstaff was pleasant, but... We didn't get a chance to enjoy dinner but we has stopped by for drinks and appetizers prior to our reservation at another restaurant. I must say we had some of the best cocktails we have had in a long time. Every single drink we had was phenomenal, we literally had one of everything. The creativity, presentation, and taste were...
