Their menu is very minimal yet there is no need to expand their menu. Their hot dogs taste great and very affordable. Their so called chilli does not taste like chilli at all but it has an unique taste which compliment the hot dogs very well. It is a cash only establishment. This keeps prices low. Go down and support... More

Nothing but the best when you go to Capitol lunch. The everything hotdog is insanely good and the chili is delicious. They have other things on the menu but I've been going for years just for the hotdogs. I would highly recommend if you are a hot dog lover.

Go here for hot dogs - Martin Rosols that snap when you bite them. This place has been a favorite for New Britain-ites forever. People that used to live here make a point of going back for their Cappy Dog Fix. I always get mine with mustard and sauce - but you can get them any way you like.

Capitol Lunch is a must when you come to New Britain. The hot dogs they use are the best in the state and their "Cappie Sauce" is not to be missed. Add some mustard and chopped onion to the soft buns that they use and you have a hot dog that you'll keep coming back to New Britain to eat.

I am 72 years young and I have been eating dogs at Cappie's since I was 5 or 6 years old. I have lived in the Keys for almost 30 years and return to New Britain several times per year. My first and last stop when coming and going is Cappie's for three no onions, onion rings, and a Coke.... More

What can i say, being a New Britain native I'm biased towards this place but the hot dogs they have can be enjoyed by anyone. Soft bun, a snap from the dog on every bite and the flavors from the sauce, mustard and onions. I visit the area twice a year and these are the only hotdogs I eat through... More

Capi dogs are a New Britain tradition. Great service and they now sell their hot dog sauce. Very savory.

Just your typical town diner with good eats and friendly service. I crave the pastrami Rubens and tasty sides of onion rings ! Great location !
