Came here solo for dinner. Had the shrimp ceviche and the Churrasco a La Parrilla- Grilled skirt steak with stir-fried rice with sweet plantains and lobster, saffron mojito and mushrooms chimichurri. The ceviche was good but the steak entree was amazing. The stir-fried rice with plantains and lobster was seriously out of this world. Truly unique and a great combo... More

Been here quite a few times and have never been disappointed. Be prepared to pay for parking because there aren't many free places to park downtown New Haven. However, there is a lot located right behind the restaurant. Everything about the inside will draw you back in again... The food, drinks, staff, atmosphere, etc... Is all great! There is music... Dining before the Shubert or Long wharf theater... one must take a pause.... Pacifico is a perfect sigh of delight. Staff, and restaurant lay out are welcoming an energizing environment to partake before theater, meeting a new work group or dining with family and friends. The roja (red) dipping sauce with bread sets the stage for an exceptional lunch or... More

The menu is divided into tapas (relatively small portions), raciones (larger portions than tapas), and entrees. In addition there are soups and salads and a small section listing a raw bar. Three of the preparations we ordered had 3 pieces each: crisp oysters topping a rich sauce; delicious bacon-wrapped pork; steak skewers served with fingerling potatoes. The shrimp in garlic... More

The food and service are amazing. I visited during winter, so could not make use of the seating outside. They have a nice mix of appetizers and entrees. Ideal for a date night or a night out with family and friends

Visited on a quiet tuesday night. Still took a lot of time to get the menu, get the drinks, and get the bill.... Server was busy looking the other way.

Stopped in for Sunday brunch. Was greeted by a friendly staff, eager to help. We sat outside. Now being in New Haven and outside your prone to noise. However, the street crossing signal did not stop and sounded like a heartbeat, a little annoying. We were provided two menus, pre- fixed and lunch. Overall the food was tasty. But the... More

I had the Ensalada de Cranberry y Queso salad. I also had a chicken tamale that was the special that day. Very tasty. Good service, fairly quick. Nice outdoor dining experience.

We recently were in New Haven and had exactly an hour to eat before our concert started (due to traffic on 95) Even thought the outdoor seating area looked packed, we went in to see if they could seat and feed us within the hour. The host immediately seated us and told the waitress we were in a rush. We... More

Sunday's have a fantastic brunch, I think the food may be a little cheaper to try a different things. Oyster monfongo was amazing. What made it even better was coconut mojitos. I have tried long and hard to figure out how they make them so addicting, the mystery remains unsolved. The bread and sauce at the beginning of the meal:10/10,... More
