We visit the are every summer and make several trips here. The soft serve is extra creamy and sure to please all. Great portion sizes for a good price.

This place only opens in the summer. I always get the medium soft ice cream. You can get a waffle cone without additional charge for that. The portion is huge too. I will go back next summer!

Great fried seafood, foot long dogs but mostly it's all about the soft serve. It's a nice sign of summer when they open! Our great aunt loved their special rueben on a pretzel bun. I am always satisfied with the fried fish sandwich.

Frosty Treat... long a favorite of locals (formerly me) I stopped in for an ice cream. The ice cream (vanilla) was tasteless. Prices are ok. All in all... it is what it is.

I discovered this place by searching online for clam strips, which my mom and I both love. The employees were very friendly and did explain it would be a short wait for our clam dinner and lobster roll. It was worth the wait. We were able to find a table under an umbrella to sit at while we waited for... More

If your looking for a quick bite, or a nice cold treat you can take your feet to Frosty Treat! There are picnic tables, a few cafe style, or you can eat in your car. Frosty Treat is seasonal, so it can be crowded and parking might be difficult depending on the day. So if your visiting or passing through... More

This place is only a few blocks from the beach and a few blocks past the "strip" of beautiful Niantic / Lyme. It has the local flavor type environment. They serve everything from ice cream to burgers and fish. The food is good the price is average. No complaints but be advised there is no seating except outside. I like... More

We stopped for ice cream, but before dessert, we enjoyed a delicious cranberry walnut chicken salad sandwich on a grilled roll! Great prices! Good ice team for dessert too.

This place is always a pleasure to visit. Always enjoy the great foot long hot dogs, burgers and clam chowder. This time I tried the scallops and they were great. If you want a nice little seasonal place to have some good grub. Try Frosty Treat. Don't forget the ice cream after you are done eating.

As a local, Frosty Treat holds a special place in my heart as this was our go to clam shack when I was a child. This is not five star dining or health food but certainly a Treat I look forward to every year. There is something special about the food, outdoor tables and signage that is quintessentially New England.... More
