We arrived on a Sun. morning and did not have to wait at about 9:00 am. There were a few tables open so we were happy. The menu seems pretty large so we perused the offerings and my husband got the Salmon Wrapped Poached Eggs (Layered spinach, red onion, avocado, smoked salmon lemon-sour cream sauce with toasted French bread). He... More

We really enjoyed our Saturday morning breakfast at JAMSS! It's a very cozy spot with a lot of interesting menu choices in addition to traditional breakfast fare. I had the French Toast, served with a hint of powdered sugar, real maple syrup, and warm blueberries and blackberries. Heaven! My husband had the hash, poached eggs, and rye toast. We are... More

Try it soon! Innovative dishes(veggie benedict), friendly service, attractive space. Meet some friends for breakfast.

Casual restaurant visited by both local and travelers. Wall shelves loaded with modesl of lighthouses...that their customers have brought to them. Very large portions, and very good meals.

Had to wait but great food and polite wait staff. Would go again! Lots of choices on the menu. For health conscious and not!

I tried this place before and it wasn't that bad something's gone wrong lately we had lunch we got served the wrong meal they had to throw it out because it was supposed to be for someone else. There are open sugar containers on each table and we spotted one of the waitresses spraying some cleaner on the table which... More

Last time I was in OS, this restaurant was at their smaller former location which I never found comfortable due to the tight seating and the open kitchen which meant the cooking smells were throughout the dining area. The new location has a much larger seating area, a bit more parking space, and the kitchen is closed off from the... More

We have had breakfast several times over the past several years--mainly at the old location and twice at the new place. Unfortunately, something has gone wrong. In the past, the food was great. Friends warned us that it has gone downhill, but we wanted to try it again. We were disappointed. The wait was long, though it was past the... More

This place really looked promising but it failed to deliver. The flips (pancakes) were rather bland; even toppings/stuffing did not help at all. The Cinnamon Raisin French toast should have been flavorful but was tasteless, and worse, mushy in spots. The orange juice was fresh squeezed, we think, and was the best part of our meal.

We have had breakfast at JAMSS many times and have loved it. Today we went for lunch and were amazed at just how awful it was. First, we were the only two people in the place and it took 25 minutes for our soup and sandwich to be served. The order, as served, was incorrect. I was supposed to have... More
