From its humble beginning to now, Somewhere in Bangkok has blossomed. We went there to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary and were not disappointed. Great atmosphere, superior service and fantastic food; never had Duck Soup and enjoyed it. Yes, during the day , parking can be a bit exasperating at times; when we went a Senior Bus parked across 5 spaces.... More

I have wandered up and down Route 10 in Southington for years, finding restaurants of all styles and quality. This little bistro is as good as any and better than most. The food is delicious, the flavors are intense, the dining room is clean, modern and handsome, the service is casual but competent, and the prices are reasonable. The menu... More

First time here. 2 different menu's were given to us. The everyday and a specials menu. The everyday menu was about 2 inches thick. Beautiful color photos of a number of dishes. It was well organized. So many choices. Many levels of spice for your pallet. If not initially spicy enough there is a spice tray you can request. I... More

The parking for the restaurant (it seems to be shared with a car dealership) is a little confusing and congested. After finding a parking spot we waited a bit before being seated...it would have been nice if someone had given us an idea there would be a wait. Once we were seated everything got better. The appetizers we ordered (chicken... More

We stopped here while passing thru Southington. Our servers were friendly and helpful, and the ambiance was decent. We split an appetizer of Chicken Satay, and a main dish of Pork Penang Curry. The chicken Satay came as 3 large skewers of chicken breast with the satay sauce on the side. The portion was generous, but the chicken breast tasted... More

Now where in Bangkok also did I find food as good as that served at Somewhere in Bangkok. Great food, great service, lovely ambience and even better pricing. Somebody with passion for life runs it, for sure.

This was my first visit here. The menu is fairly extensive, even at lunch-time. Prices are pretty moderate over all. My vegetable Panang was very good, flavorful and a good-sized portion. My only complaint is with the slow service. Since there was only one other couple in the restaurant I wondered at the long wait before someone took our order.... More

Stopped into Somewhere in Bangkok after shopping in the Southington area. All things considered was very surprised by the high quality, freshness, taste and level of service. All very very good. We had Pad Thai and Green Curry. Both were done very well. The pad Thai was a bit sweet but was quite flavorful. I am not a fan of... More

The people are very friendly and the atmosphere is nice, but I have had a LOT of Thai food, and this was not very good. We got dishes that we have had at other places, and the chicken was almost too tough to eat, and the portions were tiny! That was what really got me. The portions were the smallest... More

We recently came upon this restaurant and went on Saturday night. It's got a modern decor, with high ceilings. Very comfortable atmosphere. The waitress brought us wine & beer glasses for the BYOB that we came in with. She also filled our water glasses quickly and kept them full all evening. We ordered 3 appetizers (crab bag, calamari & shumai... More
