Recommended by friends so decided to try as recommendations are always best. Ordered as a takeaway which took 25 minutes (quick on a Saturday night so that’s great). It was bland and tasted of nothing. The coconut rice was very basic and curry’s tasteless. Nan...was the best part of the meal. Unfortunately straight after we finished we both felt poorly. We never feel unwell from meals but this was not good. On the positive side it was reasonably price however it’s not worth the illness or lack of taste. We won’t return.More

Very good food good portions and very helpful and friendly service. There was a good selection on the menu to choose from at reasonable prices a few unusual recipes as well. All in all we enjoyed our experience and easily return for another meal.

The Delhi Spice hosted a family/friends get together for us in the attached garden on Saturday 8th July. Nothing was too much trouble. The food provided was a mixture of English/Asian and was all deliciously hot. The pub bar was also well served with very...little wait time to be served. Who ever thought that an Indian restaurant with an archway without doors, leading directly into a pub, would not only be a good idea, but actually be a real hidden gem of a restaurant! I’ve lived in Maidstone for nearly 8 years and didn’t know...this place existed, but will definitely be going back again. You can access the Indian from within the rose pub or via the side entrance from the car park. Service is as expected with an Indian restaurant, excellent waiter service and relaxed atmosphere with the sounds of the pub jukebox playing in the background. Never before have I experienced a full Indian meal with the sounds of the Beatles and Frankie Goes to Hollywood playing loudly across the restaurant! Food was lovely, really fragrant and perfectly spiced for what we ordered. The bill came to £60 for the two of us, including two drinks each, a starter and main course with breads and rice. Ample parking spaces to the left of the pub directly outside the restaurant. Very quiet at 7pm on a Monday evening.More

Went there on Sunday for a meal and my bottle of wine arrived and was left on the table for me to open and pour my own wine. And service was poor and food was just ok

Food was excellent and the service was superb. Speedy and accurate. Staff were lovely and so attentive to all of our needs. Would highly recommend to anyone and will always go back as my go to Indian cuisine

This place is LOUD the waiter was unable to hear our order and most ofnthe pub customers were drunk stumbling around the place. If you are ND do not even consider this place. If you want to have a conversation do not consider this place....The food was nice except for the burnt sag bhaji. Tried to tell the waiter but he couldn't hear me so just got out as quickly as possible.More

We went last night on a friend's recommendation and they were right the service and food are spot on. I had the most flavoursome, tender chicken tikka dish I had eaten in a long time. We live so near but always went into town to eat or used town based town based delivered for Indian meals. Not any more! The best Indian meal we've ever eaten and we and our friends have eaten many over the years. The service was...friendly andb impeccable plus the final bill was very reasonable. We arranged to have an evening out with family and very close friends after a while away. The evening started with a few drinks in the bar and then we were shown to our table at the time booked. To get the meal underway we...had popadoms and chutneys while we perused the menu and then ordered. The food arrived in a timely manner and all together which for 9 people was very commendable. The standard of the food was superb with good portions and all piping hot, everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food that is of the highest quality that I cannot recommend highly enough. The bar staff were really happy and helpful and when we got to the restaurant the waiting staff were also so polite, good humoured and friendly.
