Stopped here for a lunch as it was a glorious day. To say it was a Sunday the pub was empty, although at least 4 other families turned up. Welcome was warm and friendly and we ordered Scampi and a Lasagne. Scampi was very good,...More

Visited on Saturday 26 February. Very friendly bar staff and reasonable prices. The pub ambience is great - just what you want. However our gammon and scampi meals were spoilt by a pile of very cheap under cooked oven chips and cheap peas. The gammon...More

A lovely old unspoiled real English pub with new people. Top notch pub grub with a good cellar and beers with at least one guest beer. My burger and his lamb were very good.

Just had a lovely meal at The Carpenters Arms with the family. Staff food and ambience all excellent. Great value for money. Although not listed on menu they were unfazed by my gluten free request for the Mrs. We'll be back

A great country pub - Sunday Dinner is lovely and comes with plenty of the trimmings! The tapas starter dishes are a great way to start a meal too. Eaten here several times and always been fantastic.
