It was a cold and windy day so stopped in to Penn's Place for a bowl of soup. It was delicious and hit the spot. Good place to stop for coffee, hot beverages, soup, sandwiches or dessert. Fabulous Fridays are $5 on beer and wine from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Or live entertainment on Saturday evenings. I will be... More

An historic building which now houses a variety of artists, crafters, and gifts. Since it is located in an historic town, you can soak up the atmosphere then shop.

This shop has some great and differen thome décor finds. Yes, he as trunks. He also has fun soap dispensers made from liquor bottles, and lamps made from wine bottles. Fun to talk to without being pushy. Love this shop!

Supposedly, William Penn spent his first night in the New World here. It now houses Artisans Gifts & Gallery out front and Trader's Cove Coffee Shop out back. I patronized both businesses during my... More

It was a chilly day in historic New Castle, DE and we popped in here for scones and a hot drink. Very friendly staff, lots of drinks to choose from. Nice place to warm up and plan the rest of the day. I had a cappuccino, which was yummy and foamy, but was served in a Mason jar type of... More

Traders Cove gift shop and Penn's Place coffee shop both are found in the same quaint home in historic New Castle. I went once and have been back several times in the last month for several reasons. The atmosphere is so relaxing and homey. Inside is a nice dinging room area and outside is a sitting area in a peaceful... More
