As a VFW life member (3rd Marines/MAG24 '77-81) sought this local Post out while working alone on a client's house in Bethany Beach. First impression on pulling into the huge parking lot on the bay was WOW. Only there twice off-hours for a couple pints and the interior and bar were spotless to include new bathrooms. My client on my... More

This members only VFW is basically a bar with food served on certain weekend nights. Had the occasion to eat there this past weekend when they offered a hamburger/hotdog grill dinner. Was good and inexpensive. Drinks are equally good and inexpensive but don't come here if you are looking for anything fancy. The evening view of the sunset over the... More

There can be no more gorgeous VFW in the U.S. Period! This is a welcoming place that honors those who have served so that we can enjoy such beautiful places. Go for a light meal or just a drink and the amazing water views. Just go!

This is the most beautiful VFW Hall I've been in! We were invited to brunch there to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of Post 7234 and it was wonderful.

Please understand the importance of maintaining the stability of our lives. Hope you can make it to this original bastion and symbol of freedom for all. The VFW isn't just about making money. Yesterday Bobby the bartender gave me a Pepsi because I was without any curancey... priceless! Discovered P.O.V.E is alive and kicking. Won't you join us for the... More

This VFW is right on the water and is a great place to watch the sunset from the deck. The Sunday brunch is very good and well worth $9 per person. We also went to a picnic there. The food was decent and a good value for $9 per person. During the picnic, they had DJ inside that played a... More

The breakfast buffet on Sunday mornings is worth the money. On top of that the view of the Indian River Inlet Bridge is an added free benefit. One thing they could do better is fry the bacon till it's crispy. Other than that, you can't leave hungry.

Okay I went with a few friends who play Bingo here. They offer food while playing Bingo and it is very reasonable and pretty good. The burgers are good along with fries and good wings. Reasonably priced and BINGO was so much fun. Take a visit. Great views on the Ocean in back and I took a few sunset photos.... More
