I think this restaurant excels in seafood, service, and ambiance. It's a great spot for the summer/spring/early fall as they have an outdoor terrace on the waterfront. Oyster lovers, this place won't disappoint. Great libations to go along with our meal. One of the better restaurants in the Wilmington area.
Harry's serves up high quality seafood, with well trained staff that know how to take care of you. This is one of my usual go-to place for business lunches with staff or agencies, and I've also come for team happy hours at the bar.
We had a business lunch for nine at Harry's which our guests who are local suggested. Leave it to the locals to pick a good place. I suspect this is a bit of a Wilmington institution. Harry's is only a block or two from the train station so is conveniently located for anyone arriving via Amtrak. Ample free parking in... More
Recently my friends and myself came here for a lunch out together. All of our food was delivered in a quick manner. Our waiter was also great. Myself and my friend had a lobster roll that was simply delicious! Our other friend had claims. We enjoyed our meal together at Harry's Seafood Grill on the waterfront.
We arrived at 5:55 for a 6:00 reservation. Our table was not ready, and we waited for 35 minutes to be seated. We left the restaurant at 8:30 - two hours later, and we only ordered entrees! There were long gaps at the table when our server was busy elsewhere. Other tables around us seemed to wait for food or... More
Harry's is a beautiful room. Large glass wall facing the river, a giant starfish on the ceiling, and a central fireplace. My wife and I ordered our own tasting menu: 1 pound of stone crab claws (8 claws), fried calamari (with tentacles and jalapenos), and the cheese board (5 varieties), and glasses of pinot grigio. The array of flavors was... More
We went to Harry's before the theater. The food was rather good, I had Fisherman's stew and seafood nachos. I also had a half a dozen clams on the half shell. All were very good and presented well. I did have to send the stew back the first time because it wasn't warm, but the second time was outstanding. My... More
Good place to eat lunch or dinner. Quiet enough for you to have a business, family, romantic or solo dinner. Menu is refreshed regularly and the daily specials are usually good. Love the fresh sea food!

We will be celebrating our father's 85th birthday and was wondering if the restaurant is ok for kids (ages 12 and 8) as well as adults.
