the food here is not very good. they have a special chowder on certain days, I thought that it would be good to try. Watery and flavorless. This is in a great location, but the owners do nothing to take advantage of it. no tables...More

Glanced at the last two reviews and was a bit puzzled. Have been to Con's a couple of times this winter and was quite pleased. They have some menu items that are a bit out of the ordinary for this area...like a battered, fried pork...More

Fresh fish and sea food in a very casual fun atmosphere for lunch. Friendly service, seating inside or out, across the street from the water.Give it a try for a laid back meal.

Hard to understand why this place is crowded, maybe it's the location on the water. Had the chowder (soupy) broiled grouper (tasteless & overcooked), small ordinary salad, and coconut pie (seemed like it came out of a box). Restaurant interior was run-down & trashy. There...More

We have eaten here many times. It definitely has an " old Florida" atmosphere and is usually an OK place. The last time we were there the fish was not fresh and the service slow. I never thought this place was that good, now I...More

The prime rib was the leanest I've ever eaten. The service was very friendly and very fast for a Valentine's day, Atmosphere is great. A great hidden gem. The Craft Co-op that is part of the place has really talented artist items.

glad to hear Capt'n Con's hasn't really changed in 16 years... Some love it and others hate it... Still old and needs remodeling and still has great sunsets.. Outside of starting to serve fresh seafood, do you have any other proposed changes?
