We recommend heading to the Bait and Bite for the early bird breakfast special before 8am. Honestly, I wouldn't get the biscuits and gravy again - mediocre. They have a nice variety on their menu to give your group some options for lunch or dinner....More
There are limited choices for eating in this area. The healthiest thing on the menu appeared to be the lightly breaded fish with coleslaw. It was served on a white flour bun. It was about what we expected.
For this small area, I wasn't expecting much in terms of food options. But this place was awesome! Everything we had tasted great (especially loved their chicken caesar wrap). And the people were very friendly. We pretty much ate here the entire weekend.
The bait store has lots of live baits including minnows and leeches. They also have nice hats and tee shirts. Ate dinner there and was really very good. The walleye sandwich was awesome! Good french fries. The ice cream is great and the "single" scoop...More
We ate breakfast here during our fishing trip. Friendly and helpful. The breakfast special is served before 8:00 am. Good value.

Its a life savor restaurant near the Kabetogama Lake Visitor Center in Voyageurs National Park. We ate dinner and breakfast there and its quite good and have a home made kind of taste :)
