Fantastic coffee and fantastic food - all fresh and healthy. Very friendly owner too. All in all definitely worth a visit!

This was my second visit to this small cafe in Birstall, today I only had time for a cappuchino. My short visit was a pleasure as I sat in the sunshine with a great drink. I visited Birstall to pay my respects to the late great Jo Cox, and was most fortunate to find this great cafe. A welcoming proprietor, who prepared a delectable tangy appetising salad.In addition a piquant carrot and harissa side dish, plus portions of anchovies, cheese, olives and toast. A veritable feast. A small quiet café offering something different in Birstall. Azzurro offers the standard array of coffee and cakes. I opted for a lamb panni which was excellent came with olives and capers on the side. Also offers various tagines. Great value and above all great tasting coffees. Owner was very polite and chatty.
