WE went here last evening for a joint birthday meal it was awesome the place has a Wonderful feel to it well decorated we were seated and given time to look at the menu by the very pleasant staff the food was world class we...were served by the owners mum and dad who help there son out they were wonderful hosts would love to go to this place for a meal againMore
It’s been a good while since I visited this venue and I’m still a bit anxious about going out at the moment so I wasn’t too sure what to expect, but the evening was an absolute delight.
The tables are very well set out and...we had more than adequate personal space, the toilets were immaculate, there are several sanitising points and the staff achieved the perfect balance of being super efficient and friendly whilst also wearing masks and keeping their distance.
Whilst the restaurant was full, this didn’t effect the table service, the food was served at a good pace, was piping hot and delicious. All of the food coming from
the kitchen looked exceptional and the dishes were presented beautifully and with brilliant attention to detail (though I’d highly recommend roast belly pork main!).
Thank-you Hannah’s - I can’t wait to come again soon :)More
We visited just before the eat out to help out began. We were the only ones in the restaurant so understandably no atmosphere. The inside felt like it needed a freshen up. There was a varied menu with all the favourites on. The food was...nice/better than average - homemade fish cakes very nice. Service was prompt but not overly friendly. I’d say we were pleased that we visited and would go back, just not in a massive hurry.More
Treat mum to a meal and used ‘eat out to help out’ what a fabulous meal and great service! We shared a starter and dessert and had a main each!
Everything was great from start to finish and lovely friendly atmosphere! Only cost £25 but...even at full price it would be well worth it!
Will be back againMore
My boyfriend and I joined Hannah's during a cinema visit at Showcase. We didn't want to support a chain and saw that Hannah's was 6 minutes drive away from the cinema.
We asked about vegan options on the phone as we were booking and were...assured there be options and amendments to suit my needs, so we booked. We rang again to bring our booking forward and that wasn't a problem.
They were very friendly upon arrival, and there were great social distancing measures in place. We were seated up with menus and placed a drink order.
I asked about vegan amendments and the chef came out, was super friendly and curious as to how he could help. Often I feel like an inconvenience at asking for vegan options and it seems a chore for staff but here they were just keen to help my requirements. So thanks team! Chef also assured me the chips were vegan and all their bread as baked in house. Everything is made fresh on site and you could tell from the menus great care and love goes into the food.
The setting was super old fashioned with old stone floors and giant beams. By our table there were bricked in old doors and windows, I really enjoyed the heritage of the building.
We had thai fishcakes and garlic mushrooms to start and my mushrooms were delicious! Creamy tomato based full of flavour with a great portion of mushrooms and a soft bread base, loved it. Boyfriend loved the fishcakes!
He had meatballs for mains, which were full of flavour and hearty and he loved the pasta. My vegan lasagne was amazing. All vegetables, no fake meat which I loved, it was tasty and piping hot, with generous servings of vegan cheese! Chips were great, again everything clearly made from fresh on site.
We skipped dessert as we were completely full, but they looked like good options!
Had a great chat with the waitress at payment and she was happy to ask about us and our day.
Here wasn't a card tip option, so bring cash for their tip jar, we didn't see this until the way out, so left it on the table.
To top it off... I contacted them about lost property as I thought I had left something there, they got back to me straight away and were happy to help. This stood out as excellent service too!
We'll definitely be back, hopefully for a Sunday roast and to try a nice bottle of red.
Thanks for a great evening Hannah & co!More

Oh thank you so much. We were very happy to serve you and hope we will se you again in the future . Your comments have been passed on to the staff.
First time visit with my husband on a Saturday evening. We had soup, garlic mushrooms, pork belly, steak and cheesecake. All food was lovely presented, tasty and great value. Attentive service from a wonderful family run restaurant. We will definitely return.
Welcoming friendly atmosphere. The service was great, no fuss about accommodating wheelchair and finding a suitable table. As a coeliac I often have problems when eating out but I am confident when eating at Hannah’s that care will be taken to ensure my meal will...be gluten free.
A good Sunday lunch menu with a range of options, three courses only £19.99, main courses at £9.99. A la carte menu offering a range of interesting dishes all at very reasonable prices. My friend chose the belly pork and I had lamb shank, both were delicious, beautifully presented and accompanied by a selection of freshly cooked vegetables. The portions were generous.
A wide range of home made desserts was on offer and the fresh strawberry sundae was a great hit. A good cup of coffee completed a very enjoyable meal.
The restaurant is easy to access for wheelchair users but remember to mention when booking as the upper floor is not accessible. The toilets are up a short flight of stairs.
It is a pity that this lovely restaurant is not open on weekday lunchtimes but well worth a visit on Sunday and in the evening. Parking was easy, close to the restaurant.More
