German food, made by German people, served by German people, and enjoyed by everyone. We just love going to the Duke! As a matter of fact we go almost weekly... All the food is excellent and the Duke himself makes the visit enjoyable every time we go.

Food is delicious. My husband & I had the wiener-schneitzel, three friends had the sauerbraten and one ordered the chicken. We were all pleased with our meals. Portions are large. You have a choice of sides: potato pancakes (yummy), fried potatoes, red cabbage, applesauce. If you decide to make a reservation on line - just show up at the time you... More

The Duke of Germany is not a showy place. It is very traditional German restaurant with GREAT FOOD and the owners are awesome!! I will not visit the area without eating there..

First visit to this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. A nice atmosphere and very tasty food. Parmesan schnitzel and potato dumplings,spätzle was amazing. Will definitely be back.

Service, atmosphere and food all great. During the winter season many customers are present speaking German. This is our take on absolutely true German food.

Nothing pretentious about this little place. Off the beaten path with very good German food. I'm not a German food expert so I cannot comment about authenticity, but I am a foodie and this is good comfort food.

We loved it- some WienerSchnitzel and German pot roast and a mass size beer. Don't forget the potato pancakes w/ applesauce and sour cream.

It was our first visit and we tried a comfort-food favorite, schnitzel. Schnitzel "Wiener Art" for my wife, Holstein Schnitzel for me, both were delicious. Cole slaw and roast potato side for me, potato pancakes and applesauce for her. Friendly service, immaculately clean, and reasonable prices. It's a great place for a casual dinner.

We went for dinner after reading a nice review from Jean LeBoeuf. Unfortunately it was not an all-round success. Dinner started with a nice sourdough loaf but it had been heated in a microwave so it was spongy. My husband's veal schnitzel was tough and the batter was thick and bland. I will say that my sauerbraten was delicious, but... More
