Do yourself a favor and order the Jalapeño poppers! I've been craving them ever since our visit. We also ordered burgers and fries which were about as good as any. I would suggest thinking twice before ordering the fried gator bites though. I wanted to try a bit of the local cuisine but this was not the way. Other than... More

I live in North Carolina but every time I'm anywhere near Cocoa Beach, I make it a point to go to the Lone Cabbage. The fish dinner is excellent, the beer is cold and the band on Sunday afternoon is great

This restaurant was a neat find. It's pretty isolated and located on Fl-520 on the way to Cocoa. The food was great! I had the spicy boneless wings and they were good. The hush puppies are very good as well. We didn't check out the airboat rides, but the restaurant is right next to the water so you can see... More

Took a childhood friend to The Cabbage, for lunch. We ate on the deck, watching the river and remembering happy childhood memories of hours spent on the lake and river. The food never disappoints, casual fare, reasonably priced, and they have a full liquor bar for an adult beverage. A local favorite, and a nice spot to spend a couple... More

Norman, about time to replace the carpet, No? It disturbs the appetite. Otherwise love this place, good food, good people.

Yes, it is a fish camp -- not fancy, plain, well-prepared food -- and air boats add to the Florida cracker ambiance. My husband had fried frogs' legs, a side of hushpuppies, and loved both. I had blackened mahi which was also well prepared. But the real draw, especially on a beautiful November afternoon, was sitting outdoors, on the river,... More

I first visited this place last spring, and my bride and I came here during our trip to St. Augustine. There is an airboat ride, but to be on it you have to get here before 5:00. This is a classic fish camp by the marshes, and the price for the fish is very reasonable. The alligator is also quite... More

We visited Florida for the first time, and I had some definite must-do items on my list. One of them was an airboat ride. We found Lone Cabbage based in its close proximity to Cocoa Beach and the fact that reservations weren't required. It was a great choice. Our driver took us out with only 11 of us on the... More
