Yes, it is a fish camp -- not fancy, plain, well-prepared food -- and air boats add to the Florida cracker ambiance. My husband had fried frogs' legs, a side of hushpuppies, and loved both. I had blackened mahi which was also well prepared. But the real draw, especially on a beautiful November afternoon, was sitting outdoors, on the river,... More

I first visited this place last spring, and my bride and I came here during our trip to St. Augustine. There is an airboat ride, but to be on it you have to get here before 5:00. This is a classic fish camp by the marshes, and the price for the fish is very reasonable. The alligator is also quite... More

We visited Florida for the first time, and I had some definite must-do items on my list. One of them was an airboat ride. We found Lone Cabbage based in its close proximity to Cocoa Beach and the fact that reservations weren't required. It was a great choice. Our driver took us out with only 11 of us on the... More

Absolutely fantastic, our guide was great, spotted gators, wild horses and to top it all a bald eagle, can not recommend this trip enough My kids even sampled the gator tale which went down well

First visited in early nineties, it's still pretty much the same except for a "lecture theatre" where cruise ship passengers visits. The area adjacent has been updated with toilets, picnic benches. Love the food, simple but does the job. Catfish basket excellent. Airboat ride good fun, but little chance of seeing wildlife, as it's so noisy. They tell you the... More

Fun stop after air boat ride. Tried the alligator and frog legs. Enjoyed both and staff did a nice job.

Sat outside on the patio. Right next to Indian River with airboat tours right at the dock. Food was really HOT and good. Little noisy but would definitely go again. I had the fish reuben and my husband had the shrimp. Onion rings for appetizer were great.

We were traveling south on 95 and it was lunchtime. Didn't want any usual chain place so did a search for what was available close by. This was not far off interstate so we decided to try it. Place was nothing fancy but was nice to view airboats and river from the table. I had fried shrimp basket and husband... More
