The décor is over the top tacky but that is all part of the charm. The food is amazing. Having tried practically every dish on the menu, I can honestly say that no matter what you choose, you won't be disappointed. The owner/host is very sweet and accommodating. A definite jewel in Dade City's crown.

While on a recent road trip to Dade City, we were looking for a lunch spot that wasn't a chain or fast food. After a quick search on my TripAdvisor app, we were led to Kafe Kokopelli and what a great find it was! The decor is eclectic to say the least with a very comfortable and inviting feel. The... More

We went to this restaurant last year for Mother's Day and it was great! Decided to have our family gather there today, and I don't know if we will go back. My husband and I didn't want to darken our visit with negativity, but was very disappointed in our meals. Over $200. I ordered the Filet Mignon which came with... More

We went to Dade city for the festival this past weekend, BTW, it was fun. Went to Kafe mostly by accident and found a great place. Crab soup was fantastic and our sandwiches were outstanding. My so and I split a sliced prime rib and it was as good as I have had. What a find in Dade city!

Engaging atmosphere. Delicious food. Great service. We all enjoyed looking around at the animals, stars and other eclectic decor. Our server was friendly and attentive. The chili was great! My husband and I both had the Filet which was delicious! We have 2 teens and were greatful to find smaller entree portions for them since they have outgrown kids menus.... More

Met my local friends here for drinks and food. Good cheerful service, food was great and timely, and drinks were flowing.

Like many others from the surrounding area, we have been meeting friends here occasionally for lunch or dinner as it is a half way point from Tampa and The Villages and we enjoy the eclectic atmosphere. After a very disappointing and overpriced dinner last Tues., the four of us decided not to return in the future. We would have had... More

I love stopping at Dade City and have found some great restaurants. This was not one of them. The food sounded great-the Cuban sandwich I ordered was paper thin and tasteless. The sandwich my husband wanted to order was not ava. The one named after the restaurant was nothing special.

Sorry to hear you were so disappointed. I have to assume the sandwich your husband wanted was the short-rib. Since we cook from scratch we do run out of menu items from time to time. It could be our purveyor was out of what we ordered or we sold a lot of that particular item before the next delivery. As... More

Thanks for bringing in your guests. After going over your review with our manager, Andrea, I feel we could have handled things better. First, your server made a mistake by hitting the calamari button instead of chicken. An honest mistake. Second, most restaurants add an auto-gratuity to large parties that is automated through their POS system. You by no means... More

Twelve family members gathered from different parts of the state for a holiday luncheon and ordered off the menu. The server was efficient and friendly. Everyone's food was to their liking and guests were delighted to find a special new place for a celebratory time. Andrea, the manager handled all the preparations for an attractive table very nicely.

Thank Bobbie7

Located in Historic Downtown Dade City Florida, Kafe Kokopelli resides in a near 100 year old red-brick, vine covered building that was constructed in 1919. Originally built as a Model-T Ford Sales and Service center it was home to the local Ford dealers until the mid 1970's. Saved a few months from demolition, the building was restored and converted to house what is now Kafe Kokopelli, a favorite of locals and visitors from all over the country.
