Some friends took us here and despite having driven past for many years have never been in. The menu comprehensive with excellent food and good service. This is a very popular restaurant and wait times can be up to 30 mins.. However, worth the wait.

My family of five are in the area for a few weeks and picked Miller’s for dinner on Sunday night. We based our decision to eat at Miller’s upon reviews online. We ordered online and although the online ordering system is flawed we did get what we ordered within the time estimate. The staff was friendly and efficient from what I could tell. I would give the food quality a 10 and portions of food were appropriate for the price. We all had sandwiches ranging from fish to prime rib. We will order food from Miller’s again.

Long wait to be seated about an hour, seems restaurant unable to handle immense crowd on Monday night. Special on full rack of ribs at 13.99 a bit over seasoned with salt base and over cooked probably due to the very large crowd, fries were good and cole slaw average at best. Our waiter was excellent with a dry humor and checked on us despite handling multiple tables.

Unless your party arrives no later than 4:30 PM for dinner, depending on the size of your party, expect wait times up to 2 hours. It is ridiculous. The first time we went, arrived at 5 pm, and we waited 45 minutes (party of 6, 2 children). Wait staff very friendly, mostly efficient, kept the kids entertained while we waited what seemed like a long time (27 min) for 3 specials ( that night's specials) and 2 kids meals. How tough is that? If we are ordering specials, I expect quicker service. They were not anything special, good, but not extraordinary. The second time we went, jut my husband and I, sat at the bar. A little quicker service, but parties waiting for a table were stacked up like cord wood when we left. Checked the wait board as we left, (630 PM) and wait time was 2 hours and 25 min. I do not undertand anyone waiting that long for an ordinary restaurant meal at a loud ale house, with rather expensive beer costs. Call me crazy, but others we have talked to same all the Miller's in the area are the same way. Long lines, ordinary food. I would love for someone to tell me why. We go VERY infrequently now, and only if we skip lunch and and want an early dinner.

This is a perfect example of businesses (and many younger people) having the attitude of "give us your money and shut the hell up". For the record, I am 68. About 1 year ago I stopped making regular visits here because I got an order of "fish and chips" where the fish was the size of a pencil in a ton of breading and they refused to make it right. I returned now for lunch with friends and ordered a "Nashville Hot Fish Sandwich" which was not at all hot but tasted OK. I also had 2 Bud Light beers in the span of one hour. Next to me at the bar was an elderly couple (probably well into their nineties). The old man ordered the same fish sandwich and I mentioned to him that it was not hot at all but had good taste. I think that comment was the bottom line to this incident. The lady had soup, which she ask to be very hot. It was not and she returned it and said that she would like a larger bowl of soup and she would pay whatever it cost. The server said they only had one size and repeatedly refused the old ladies request. Later I questioned the server why the lady could not get a double order in a larger bowl and I was also told they would not do that. I told her that was very poor service and the server then told a co-worker that I should be "cut off" from alcohol for complaining. That ticked me off and I spoke to the manager who ask why I was so worried about another customer. He did not ever look into the complaint from the lady !!!!! I told him it was terrible service and I was tired of businesses having the attitude of "give us your money and take whatever food and service we give you and shut up". That escalated into a heated discussion and he told me to leave and not come back. During this, the elderly couple was thanking me and agreeing with me. This was a case of multiple employees giving terrible service and refusing to address customer complaints. In all of my years I can honestly say that I have never seen poorer attitude and service in an eating establishment. It was disgusting and shameful and showed complete disregard for any customer service or even caring about service. In a time of reduced customer traffic and employee layoffs it would seem that establishments would be trying to accommodate customers needs and requests instead of driving them away. I would discourage anyone from going anywhere near a Millers Ale House as the company obviously adheres to a policy of "you , the customer, owe us and you should just be happy that we let you come here and eat in our establishment. And, by the way, give us your money , be quiet and what we say goes".

Other visits to this restaurant were satisfactory, but not this time. We went for their Wednesday night special of lobster. We checked online before going to confirm that lobster was the special. Our waiter apologized but informed us that lobster was no longer the Wednesday special. Bummed, but not deterred, we chose other seafood items. The fish and chips were recommended, as well as the shrimp. When they came, both portions looked plentiful and well cooked. The reality was that the fish was mostly heavy greasy breading, and the little fish inside was not good tasting. One piece tasted so foul I was concerned it would make me sick. My wife said her shrimp was fine, but she confided in me after leaving the place with a big doggy bag, that the shrimp had very little taste. Our waiter was very good and attentive. And the restaurant is bright and clean. It’s only saving grace the night we visited.

Traveling back to the Daytona area from the Sarasota on I-4, we stopped at this exit for a late lunch. We were aware of the Chili’s at this location so we planned to patronize with a visit. Wrong. We entered the almost empty restaurant and were told it would be 15 minutes before we could be seated. Huh? I pointed out the lack of customers only to be told they only had two servers on duty. It seems to me 2 people could have handled an empty building. I didn’t see a manager anywhere but I did notice the Millers Ale House next door with a full parking lot. I told our greeter that we would just walk next door. She could care less. We were seated directly at Millers and found service as soon as we settled in. Couldn’t help notice that this place was busy, which obviously says a lot about the place. Our server was attentive during our visit which was nice. I didn’t have to wave him down. Our drinks and meal were brought in a timely manner and we enjoyed our selections. Now that we found this place, it will be our new halfway stop as we travel from the east side of the state to Tampa all the time. We will be back. Enjoy.

My wife and I stopped in for dinner on a Monday night, with nothing special going on. We had just arrived in town from Wisconsin and needed some things at Publix and Miller's was very convenient. We thought we had really selected the right place because it was so busy, with a 35-40 minute wait (or so we were told). Everyone looked reasonably happy too. I got drinks from the bar and we waited near the entrance. It took nearly an hour to be seated and we got our food 90+ minutes after we arrived. Ironically, we were seated at a table that we observed was empty, as was the one next to it, for at least 30 minutes. Strange. After the long wait and the big crowd, we had high hopes for the food. Unfortunately, it was remarkably ordinary. We both had burgers and fries, which should be right in the wheelhouse for a place like this. My beer - Lagunitas IPA - was good. My wife's margarita, not so much. Overall, the experience was OK, but we won't return. Too bad because there aren't many restaurants close to the house we rented in Reunion.

We have been in Davenport FL for a month. The day we arrived, we got to our place after 6PM. We were tired and hungry. We had passed Miller’s Ale House and decided to go there for dinner. It was a Tuesday and the special that day is a 6oz sirloin steak for $9.99. We decided to try it. It was great. We went back every Tuesday. We also went there on Saturdays too and tried other dishes. My husband liked the shrimp scampi and I liked the mahi mahi. The only drawback is that the place is packed ever night. They don’t take reservations and the wait for a table can be an hour. We were usually able to find a spot at the bar. This is a chain and it is similar to Applebee’s, but the food is better.

We ate lunch here on Wednesday. We enjoyed the food. Prices are amazing. The employees are all so nice and friendly. Kids get a free dessert with their meal. We were going back for supper on Saturday but there was an hour wait so we went to another location and I must say service was consistent at both locations.

The daily special was for a full rack of Baby Back Ribs for a reasonable price. Stephany is wonderful waitress and sold us on how tender-fall off the bone the ribs were. Sadly they were dry and old when they came out. On top of that they were two different sizes. The cesar salad was good as were the loaded baked potato and the broccoli. One of the rack of ribs was ok so we ate that one. We would come back but will never order the ribs again. You could tell they were days old.

Entered here and the masked host gave us all kind of instructions and led us to a booth. We know the host was talking about when to wear a mask inside, but it was hard to understand him because he was wearing a mask. They have a cute system to let servers you need something, but it did not mean anything as we found out. Food was excellent. We had to wait 5 minutes to get all the things to enjoy the meal after it was placed in front of us by someone other than our server. Tartar sauce, extra butter, salt, salad dressing. Thankfully the food was excellent.

We visited based on great reviews. However, we were overall very disappointed. We had a long wait (40 minutes), which was our choice to stay. However once we did get seated was another long wait before server came over (10 minutes). Then it just didn't get any better. Our zinger order was forgotten, and our mains came out when we then said we were waiting on apps still. So ate the main and then the zingers came out. The zingers we choose mild sauce, not knowing that was mild buffalo sauce vs mild bbq sauce - so then those were a waste but by that time we had finished eating mains which weren't fantastic anyways. We ended up leaving and then going to coldstones for desert and that was our highlight. We should have just skipped Millers and next Florida visit it definitly won't be on our list.

We ordered starters (appetisers for my American 🇺🇸 buddies and buddetts) with beers and cocktails, thinking we would then order mains (entrées) later on. Wow the portions were great, we had calamari, tex mex nachos and pork potstickers 🥟, all were cooked nicely and were very tasty. Our waitress was friendly, not pushy, allowing us time to choose, drink and finish our drinks. Because we were on holiday from the uk, I wanted to try some craft beers, but didn’t know what to choose. I asked our waitress to ‘surprise’ me and she brought four different types of beer, to be honest one’s I wouldn’t have chosen what she gave me but was pleasantly surprised with three of the four and I was really happy. We then decided to order our mains to go as we had been out all day and we’re feeling tired. We ordered a couple of prime burgers with loaded fries and zinger Mac & cheese, unfortunately the fries were just plain, not loaded, the food was tasty, but would have probably been better eaten at the restaurant. Service 9/10 Restaurant food 9/10 Takeout 6/10

We visited for lunch. The not so friendly hostess went to seat us and did not hear the request for outside, then said she could. so she took us to the bar area and sat us in the middle booth. Not outside at all, and the first booth was vacant so why not that one? We sat around for a while and finally the waitress came over, a young gal from Rancho Cucamonga CA. I lived in that area and was happy to see she'd lived there so I wanted to ask her about it but she had limited interest in talking with us for some reason. We were first timers and wanted to ask a question but she did not even want to give us 30 seconds to tell her what we wanted to drink. She left, no smile, no connection or interaction really. She gave us something to talk about and sadly it was her poor attitude. It was not crowded inside. Anyway, we had calamari appetizer that was very good. I had a cobb salad, and that was pretty good, although the bleu cheese was incredibly strong, not sure if old or what so I could not eat that much of it. My family had Philly Cheese Steak sandwiches and seemed to like them. Later, the waitress seemed to have a whole new attitude, like her meds kicked in or something. It was odd. Food is fairly good but the prices are a bit high, so local family won't go back.
