This place was packed and insanely loud. I couldn't hear my self think. I couldn't hear anyone at our table of 5. Food was just ok. Appetizers and salads were all around 18-20$ each. Service was ok. Art was cool. But I never want to come back though. Sorry. Not worth the price and not an enjoyable night especially for... More

Arranged a dinner for 42 guests and, this traveled "foodie" was wonderfully impressed. The owner, Francis Touboul, certainly, has perfected his culinary craft from making it easy to determine a fine Mediterranean menu to serving a flawless meal and service in a private setting. There is nothing like it in Del Ray that could have pulled off this level of... More

First impression was that the acoustics were awful. It was inordinately loud. We were seated and everyone ordered. We ordered several bottles of wine and this was a first: the waiter brought the bottles to the table and couldn't be bothered to pour, he simply put them down and walked away. Really? I'd expect that if I went to a... More

A group of 10 of us, old friends, gathered at La Cigale for dinner, and the evening was delightful! Our host, Francis Touboul, could not have been more gracious! It didn't hurt that he was a friend of a couple in our group, and he generously provided us with a private room and an evening of delectible taste treats! Most... More

We had a lovely family dinner and all enjoyed our meals, but we also all agreed that the prices were too high for the quality of the food. My lamb chops were good but not great. Same with the filet and the osso buco. Certainly good bit nothing outstanding. Take $10.00 off each entree and it would be a better... More

Restaurant was extremely noisy. Hostess would not open any of the private rooms. Had to use cell phone light to read menu. Good menu, but extremely pricey for what you get. Won't be going back!

Wonderful service, food just exquisite. .. Filet Mignon cooked to perfection. .. Blue for me, medium rare for Jann with chanterle mushroom wine sauce accompanied with dauphinese potato and for desert a bread pudding to die for!

Excellent service and great food. All dishes are prepared with care and the presentation is is worthy of a fine restaurant. The staff goes out of the way to make you feel like a regular. Excellent bar at a wonderful happy hour . All drinks are two for one including premium drinks. Als, an extensive menu of appetizers for $6.00

Food was average but service was unacceptable. Background music is much louder than background music and management refused to ask musician to lower the volume. Dinner tab was expensive for what we received. Value was not very good.

We went to La Cigale for a special family dinner. The dining area is very posh and the service was excellent. We had two appetizers and three main courses. Each was wonderful. I can especially recommend the Duck. My mom wanted the Scallop and Shrimp over spinach with Scallops only and the chef accommodated her request. La Cigale is a... More
