The high point of this restaurant (literally, since it's a raised building) is the atmosphere and the view. The center bar makes the place seem very "Florida" and the food is always good, though not exciting. Still makes for a nice night out, give it a try!
Started our week long vacation in Manasota Key with a wonderful dinner at this family, locally owned restaurant. We had wonderful seafood dishes and pleasant atmosphere. Probably best to have reservations "in season". This is one of many family owned restaurants we tried in the Manasota/Englewood area. We weren't disappointed with any of them.

Enjoyed dining at Gulf View and will return. Chose prime rib for me and the Queen cut fed me for two days, tender, juicy, perfect.
