The stone crabs and seafood basket was good. The restraunt was on the water. The only problem was there was a lot of bees. They were every where. we moved tables 3 times and then took our food to go.

View terrific even though the noise of many air boats was annoying. Fried seafood, fried seafood and a very tasty shrimp wrap.

They had great rock crab claws. Nice seating with view over water/ mangrove. But do spray yourself as once it gets darker you are on the menu of our little buzzing friends.

When in the Everglades, this is always our go-to lunch stop. A walk up cashier right in front of the kitchen area, fresh fish and stonecrab for sale and on display. Food is nothing crazy special - many fried seafood baskets- clam strips, oysters, po-boys, etc... but they are made fresh. Beer is grab your own out of the cooler,... More

The Grouper was recommended and it was not only served with a smile, but it was quick and very tasty. The price was spot on and the location was perfect.

My husband and I enjoyed a day trip to Everglade City and enjoyed a great lunch at City Seafood. The stone crab was delicious! My husband tried the sampler with fish, shrimp and conch. The conch was rubbery, but everything else was great. I also recommend the seafood chowder. Order your food at the counter and find a seat outside.... More

If you want fresh seafood, this is still the best place. Can't see how the other restraunts are getting even more than average reviews when they serve frozen, tough fish. This place, although nothing fancy, is the real deal. If you can get over the long lines and claustiphobic ordering situation, the food is worth the wait. My husband and... More

Dining outside on intercostal waterway in Everglades City remains special -but- expansion of facility/new ownership(?) and price of food disappointed. We fondly remembered the sweet corn that is no longer on the menu and large servings of crab, not an expensive, small serving.

Very casual atmosphere, food is a bit overpriced but everything tasted good. forgot I had been here 4 years ago. kinda confusing when you walk in, where to go to get the food, upstairs vs downstairs. very good for everglades city selection. a very short walk from the Ivey house.

We really weren't sure what to expect, but hunger was our primary concern. City Seafood is simple looking with written menus on the walls, but their is a pretty good variety of delicious seafood.
