We popped into the Oyster House restaurant as we'd arrived in Everglade City late afternoon and most other eateries had closed. We'd also visited before, several years ago and knew it was a friendly and comfortable place to eat. The menu was locally sourced fodder,...More

Went for the Saturday night prime rib special. Had a party of eight and the service was great. Prime rib and sides were just as ordered. A perfect meal in a perfect setting. The restaurant has an attached bar that seems to be "hopping", and...More

Went to oyster house when another restaurant had too long a wait. We ordered gator for an appetizer, then triggerfish for the main course with a cup of clam chowder. All of the food was fresh, with the fish finished with a nice key lime...More
