On our last day of vacation we visited this restaurant located in a strip shopping center near the town center. Had a short wait before seating. Just what we were looking for. Well prepared eggs and interesting breakfast dishes. Good pancakes, real butter and fast friendly service. Reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

We've been twice for breakfast and twice for lunch and not been disappointed with the excellent food or service. We even splurged and tried the coconut cake. Wow!

Took a drive out to have breakfast/brunch here. Seems like a very local spot. Food was good they serve you more then enough to fill your tummy. Not sure it was worth the 30 minute drive but if we are every just near by maybe we will stop again. Best part of the trip was the new sheets we got... More

We chose this place purely because it was close to our hotel and we were on our way out of town. It was the only business open in that shopping center and the parking lot in front of it had a large cluster of cars- usually a good sign. I expected down home food, and that is what they served,... Ms Carolyn's is a favorite of locals... and the word has spread. Those who frequent the island know this is THE place for breakfast. Tucked away in an otherwise fairly desolate strip mall, Ms. Carolyn's would be easy to miss. The food is delicious and the portions are huge! Service is always pleasant and relatively prompt considering how busy the... More

Love the breakfast, huge portions. Get a piece of cake to go. It is normally busy, but sit through the short wait, it is worth it.

Seat yourself at lunch. They were busy but not a line at this time. My husband had shrimp and grits, my son had the crab cake burger and I had the Basa fish in a lime and honey glaze with cheese grits. Yum! We got a piece of lemon cake and key lime pie to go! Oh my! Don't miss... More

Friendly and fast service, good food and easy to locate. We went twice while staying on the island and had the pancakes both times!

Came here for breakfast on family beach vacation. Food was quite good. Omelettes were large and delicious. However, waitress was rude and surly. One of the members of our group had her omelette served 10 minutes later than the rest of the table. When asked about this the waitress said "It'll be out in 2 minutes", several times. She developed... More

It wasn't on the menu, but when we asked, the waitress was excited to give us the rundown on it. My husband and I both ordered it. My, my, my it was rich! There was Plenty of shrimp, sausage, mushrooms, gravy and grits I've never had shrimp and grits the way it was fixed. It was a good southern take... More
