Very festive décor (would look good in a whimsy backyard garden) Excellent Quesadillas. Plenty of food, and condiments. Owner even stopped by, very personable. Mango Daiquri was so good

On 39th Avenue with limited parking. Most employees are Mexican descent and know the food. This is in my opinion Gainesville's best Mexican restaurant. Great marguerites (order from the top shelf selection).

Slow night, so the immature staff (other than the servers) spent 95% of their time clustered in a group of 5-6 over their cellphones at the front of the restaurant. Our server was good. Everything about the food was VERY good, except for a major deal-breaker: literally every dish we ordered was horribly salty. We are people who normally find... More

I ate here last Thursday and was really disappointed. The service was poor and it took 30 minutes for the food to be served after I ordered and then the food was luke warm as if it had sat for 15-20 minutes. I have eaten here several times and it seems to get worse every time we go. Probably will... More

Our kids were visiting their friends and a cousin from UF and we decided to join them there at this restaurant. I was impressed by the layout and the decor. There were lot of choices, some familiar and some not so much. I like the pick 2 or 3 choices as a combo. I decided to go with the "... More

We were ordered mandatory evacuation for hurricane Matthew and ended up in Gainesville. We met some friends here for a bite and a drink and it was pretty tasty. I got their tamales and they were pretty darn good! Being an original Texas native, impressing me with "Mexican" food is not easy. I can't speak for the rest of the... More

We thought we had found something great in Gainesville but it turned out to be just another copycat Americanized Mexican Restaurant. The service was fair, atmosphere was ok, and food was tolerable. I wouldn't recommended it though.

Great food and good drinks. Fun atmosphere and like the salsa and fish tacos. Many dishes to choose from and the food is great. Seating outside if you wish and has covering on cool evenings. Just a great place for family, business, kids or stop for a meal solo.

Therestaurant is a little tight between tables but otherwisenice andsonable in cost. You can get a make your own meal with three items for $7.50 or four items for $8.50. My wife & I shared a four item & were satisied. The rest of the family got the four item & took somehome.

Another great Gainesville local place. Great food. I have NEVER had a bad meal there. Servers are wonderful. Owner is a sweet man who is there alot. Planning on going there tonight for dinner! Wednesdays are mariachi days. Enjoy!
