While on Key West, we tried key lime pie at for different establishments. Cafe Sole's was far and away the best beating Blue Heaven's by a huge conch throw.

This is an OpenTable restaurant. It is on the corner street of a tranquil neighborhood. You had a choice of indoor seating with A/C or covered outdoor seating with fans. We sat outside by the window. We arrived in time for the 2 for 1...More

This is a great place if you want locally caught fish, ala hogfish, snapper, and black grouper. My wife loved her hogfish (flaky, simple) and I really liked the black grouper -- the best in the local grouper family. Also good: conch carpaccio. Escargot was...More

We had another place in mind on Duval Street but the power was off all along Duval--fluke. We called around to see what restaurants were open and this was one. The hogfish was delicate, melt in your mouth, the mushroom soup savory and rich, the...More

Love love love this place!! Off the beaten track. Amazing food. French influenced Mediterranean. Highlights were the Hogfish Snapper, Angels on Horseback (figs wrapped in bacon), Saganayki, and Conch Carpaccio. Dessert was to die for. Service and wine were excellent as well. Don't miss!

What a GEM ! Southern French food impeccably prepared and with a twist. The Hogfish was outstanding. The dates wrapped in bacon incredible. The conch carpaccio was fantastic. The key lime pie was the best we've ever had. Our best meal in Key West!!!

Hi You can park on the street. There are many spots that are not designated residential. You may have to walk a block. Cant wait to meet you, Chef John

Just ate there this week and thought it distinctly average and gave it a 3 stars as it is not value for money. Now I read your review and find the tip was already on. I didn't check and now I am seriously pissed off. Thanks for your review.

Description
Cafe Sole has captured the hearts and palates of locals and visitors lucky enough to discover this culinary gem off the beaten path. By combining his French mastery of sauces with fresh locally caught seafood, John has created a menu unlike any on the island, where every dish is bursting with indescribable flavors. Mutton snapper in pesto and champagne, yellowtail in a beurre blanc of lobster or a rare hog snapper with red pepper zabaglione top a list of nightly specials. As for the classics, the Duck a L'Orange, Rack of Lamb with herb de Province and Lobster Bouillaise are as authentic as you will find this side of Paris. Chef Correa combines the best of both of his worlds, European and Caribbean to win the People's Choice and Best Entree awards at a recent Master Chefs Classic
