Conch chowder was served Luke warm. Should just call it chowder because it had Little to no conch. Way too watery for conch chowder. Not good. Conch fritters were just ok. Had better..had worse....again where is the conch? Cheeseburger was average. Fried dolphin sandwich was nothing to write home about. Key lime pie was ok but it tasted more like... More

If you didn't get any conch in your chowder then I will have to talk to the server about stirring it before ladling it into the bowl. I put 15 pounds of in house ground conch in each 8 gallon batch of conch chowder we make. That said, there is a substantial amount of conch in it. And, at $9... More

Great craft beer special on Wednesdays, $4 a glass and a large selection. They have wings that are smoked (large and tip-on), fried and coated in a unique Asian sauce. Husband loved them, but I wasn't a fan, but not the restaurant's fault that I don't care for the smoked taste and sauce. I think I would have liked them... More

Perfect Keys casual restaurant for great Florida food and great beer at a reasonable price. The service is great too. Should be on Triple D. You can compare similar restaurants based on their Conch chowder, fish sandwiches, fries/ sides and quality beverages. You won't beat Herbies. One caveat... Not on the water. But right on the highway.

What an awesome place. It has three sections a bar, an inside restaurant, and an outdoor pub to satisfy any family or group. The owners are super nice people and have a great knowledgeable staff. The beer selection is great with lots of craft beers on tap. And the food is super from the conch fritters, the seafood dip, and... More

Stopped in en route to Key West. Amazing staff and good recommendations. The draft pineapple cider was amazing, in a glass rimmed with honey and cinnamon.... conch fritters were great and the magi sandwich was a perfect lunch option. The key lime pie was absolutely delicious.

Stopped in this cute little place on our way down to Key West. Service was great and so was our meal. We ordered and split the Crabby Patty, Fried Conch and Key Lime Pie. All were delicious. I think the best part of the our meal was the Ace Pineapple Cider. Absolutely one of the best cider beers I've ever... More

Lot's to choose from with lots of options. A little out-of-the-way but worth the find! Terrific, down to earth servers. Several different areas to sit.

We venture in on a whim and were pleasantly surprised at the extensive beer list and wine by the glass list. We were a party of 5 and had various chowders and seafood apps, all of which were good. A fun place.

Food and craft beers were awesome. We had the conch fritters and oyster sampler to start. All delicious. Also ordered Caesar salad, fish wrap, mahi sandwich and Caribbean shrimp. The best part? They have high chairs that hook to the table hanging up for all to use. The server brought over chalk and a little chalkboard for our little guy... More

Herbies is the oldest operating restaurant in the Heart of the Florida Keys! Having been established in the late 1940's under the name Maggie's Chowder House, it has become a landmark restaurant and continued local favorite. While the restaurant is well established, the only thing old school about the menu is the fact that everything is prepared from scratch here, and that includes grinding our own grass fed beef, conch, sausage, and hot dogs (when available). And, our beer selection is unmatched from Miami to Key West. All on tap craft beer. No, you will not find a National branded beer here, but you will find true American fresh craft beer along with some exceptionally fine wines all poured by the glass. So, don't let the Florida road side shack appearance fool you! Come on in and enjoy some of the best food in the Heart of the Keys!
