Visited Texas Roadhouse twice on our recent vacation to Florida. I would have rated Excellent but each visit was vastly difference experience which is why i decided on very good due to the consistency not being there.
First visit our server was Dana and she was brilliant. Attentive, topped the drinks up, engaged in conversation, couldn't have asked for any more. The food was excellent, everything arrived on time, piping hot & was really delicious.
Second visit was a bit of a mess. We put our name on the wait list and sat outside for 30 mins, got called and asked to go stand on spot 5, stood there for ages being ignored, then got moved to spot 3 and finally onto spot 1. When we got to 1 someone asked for the party name, looked confused and moved us back to 3, then 5 mins later someone else took us to a table. Probably waited 40-50 mins all told.
Our server this time was Tylar and he was the polar opposite of Dana. Initially engaging during the order process, someone else brought the drinks which were wrong (the Raspberry ice tea had no Raspberry in them). In fact i'd pretty much finished my meal before Tylar decided to revisit our table so i could tell him the drinks were incorrect, he then argued back saying they weren't but if we like he would remake them with more Raspberry syrup. I'm really not in the habit of telling someone something isn't right if it is, so don't tell me otherwise! He eventually brought the replacement iced teas but by that point i'd finished my meal & he also had to be asked for refills on the other 2 drinks.
Food was ok but the service really tarnished the experience.
The cynic in me says the level of service you get is directly equal to the size of your order, given they're tipped on the order value. First visit we had Drinks, Appetisers, Entrees. Second visit we skipped Appetisers and just had Entrees, possibly would have had dessert if the service wasn't as poor. Dana got about 22%, Tylar got 18% and he didn't even deserve that.

We visited here for a family meal after being recommended . Upon arrival there seemed to be a massive queue of customers waiting to get in which we hadn’t seen at any of her other restaurants we visited, this gave the impression that this place was popular. We got a table and ordered our meal, my wife and myself not ordered steaks and they were perfectly cooked and so tasty. The kids enjoyed their meals too. We have been to a few steak smokehouses in Florida during our holiday and this was by far the best and friendliest

Just as we remember from our first visit to Texas Roadhouse in Melbourne beach 12 years ago ! My little girl now 17 said can we go to the steak place with the line dancers and monkey nuts on the floor ! We found one had opened in Kissimmee.. sadly no nuts as staff have nut allergies.. What !! Monkey nuts is like the Texas Roadhouse trademark .. it adds to the atmosphere and whole dinning experience! The food was great and fairly priced and amazing fresh hot bread rolls ! Well cooked steak perfectly as requested and you can still pick your choice of cut of meat at the fridge counter on entry !! No sign of line dancers, but apparently they were on earlier .. more line dancers and bring back the monkey nuts please !!! !
Arrived at 7.00 place was rammed full and 30.40 outside waiting ! We jumped the queue and sat at the bar - no wait (good tip) . Great margaritas! Cold beers .. sadly no nuts 🥜 you can get some on the way out … not the same but still a great restaurant - friendly staff and good service with fairly priced food!
Oh and the steak cut chips (uk)- fries as they call them in the USA ..Caesar salad perfect !

We ate there on February 20th with a group of 12 people.
The food was really great, and so was the waitress Diana, or so we thought. When paying, however, there were problems with a gift card. $90 was deducted from the gift card but not added to the bill. Diana then told us that the amount of $90 would be credited to the gift card after 10 days at the latest. Now I contacted customer service and was told that everything was correct and our $90 was gone. We were sent a copy of the revised bill, where we saw that the $90 was simply added to the tip we gave. We had a bill of $315 and in the end we were paid $480 without our consent. That is a disgrace and a complete rip-off. It means that the good service and the food there are no longer worth anything.
It would be great if there was a refund soon, as we would like to eat at the Texas Roadhouse again this week.

We didn’t complain… just in case this is how the meat is meant to taste, but for a visiting Aussie, this was terrible.
The queue to get in was not a problem, but the waitress trying to rush you through was… at first we thought it was just good service that she was coming to us every 2 minutes… but then we realised that she was oblivious to what was happening at the table or what was requested… it was just rushing us.
The steak when it arrived was over cooked, bland and tough… and not even touched. The ribs were devoid of any sauce dry and flavourless - we ate them out of hunger
Despite most of the food being untouched, the waitress was still in rush mode so didn’t ask if anything was wrong… just pointed us towards an online payment system to get us out the doir
Overall an absolutely terrible experience… ironically there was an Outback Shack next door that made us rue the decision even more

We are seasoned visitors to this area with over 25 years of experience. I remember this restaurant being built and have eaten there fairly regularly since ie scores of occasions.
The Roadhouse now appears to have become beyond the limitations of its current systems and the control of its management.
For example. There is a "booking system". This is done online and means you are turning up to stand in the queue dictated by the current situation in the hope of being given a table at a certain time.
Next, if you show up on spec, which most folk do, they will give you an optimistic estimate of your wait and instead of handing you an electronic pager, will ask for your mobile number and offer to text you. This is a minefield for the elderly and often problematic for anyone resident outside the US. These phones are rooted all over the world and have International numbers many folk don't know. Mis-keys, typo errors and so forth are common.
We tried to eat there on four occasions over the last few weeks, turning up on spec.
First time we were told '15 mins' and heard nothing by phone for 45 mins. I assumed they had tried to text but on enquiry they appeared to have forgotten us. We had a tasty bar snack in the end and left.
The second time we arrived checked in were told 15 mins, waited 40min and left. As I passed the desk I was wished 'goodnight and thank you for eating with us'. I thanked them, laughed and left.
The third time, we came at 4.15pm in the hope of an early table. It was full of pensioners enjoying small portion "happy hour" meals which end at 5pm. The outside was packed with evening diners waiting. We finally checked in and were told it would be about 20 minutes. We left after about 15 minutes as none of those in front of us had been seated. As I passed the desk, I was wished "goodnight and thank you for eating with us."....There are a number of good restaurants a short distance away from The Roadhouse. We have been using them.

Visiting from UK, Brought along friends ( group pf 8) after we had visited 4 times before in previous years and had highly recommended Texas Roadhouse to them. Service wasn't great as usual and a lot of the food was only warm or cold. Most the group were hungry and said they would just eat it. Two meals were sent back, one steak was well overcooked and fries were luke warm. The second meal was too cold to enjoy. The meals were sent back , but then brought back almost the same with very little improvement. By which time we didn't wish to wait for a further replacement as many in our party were almost finished eating. An overall very disappointing experience. No offer of goodwill discount on the bill, in fact automatically charged 18 % Gratuity for average service and poor food. Sadly won't be returning again. :(

We waited 45 minutes for a table starting at 7pm on a Saturday night in August. We were seated and brought bread then welcomed by our server Karen whom made us feel welcome. I got the 6 ounce sirloin and bbq chicken combo with Cesar salad and chili sides. For twenty two bucks it is a hell of a meal deal.

Cozy and attractive restaurant. Sufficient choice on the menu and service very nice and well organised. The requested food arrived quickly, the food was also very good and delicious. Absolutely recommended for any group.

Overall, my experience at this establishment was awful. My food came out the wrong temperature and I had to wait 20 minutes for the food to come out again but the rest of my table was finished. I couldn't find a manager and neither could my server, so that was also quite a concern. I told Kristy about the issue I had with my food, and it seemed like she was barely empathetic and I was disappointed that the manager didn’t offer any compensation or resolution for the poor experience I had during my meal. Never coming back!!!

Despite a very long (50 minutes) wait, having already made a reservation on line and received confirmation, the food was excellent.
The meat on the ribs literally fell off the bone. My husband ordered a steak with vegetables and fries as his side options, his meal arrived with rice rather than fries, but in fairness was a more enjoyable option for him. He described the steak as the best he’s eaten in the area.
The Front of House Manager was very apologetic for the unusually long wait, which we appreciated.
Will certainly be going back.

From the moment we walked through the door being met by a server who made no eye contact or spoke to us, not a single word. Then to our table server who despite being told 3 times about a food allergy only for her to forget and the food be delivered to our table that could have hospitalised me should I have eaten it. This put simply was the worst dining experience we have had in over 20 years of visiting Orlando. The manager was so apologetic and tried her best to sort the situation but her staff put simply were either ignorant or incompetent. We wouldn’t eat in this restaurant again if the entire experience was free.

We are from out of state but we have Texas roadhouse where we live in Arizona. We loveTexas roadhouse in their food.
I’m giving you this bad review because we came a few minutes early to get our tables and sit and begin or appetizers as we are starving. The company says it’s against the rules to let people in early people that are waiting for other people that is utterly ridiculous

I love Texas Roadhouse and was happy to see one in the area we were visiting. Unfortunately, the service at this restaurant was not up to their usual standards. When we arrived they, the restaurant had very few patrons but we were advised they were short staffed and it would be a 5-15 minute wait. They advised they would text when the table was ready. After thirty minutes, I checked again with the hostess only to be told it would be a few more minutes. Forty minutes in, we received a text. We went in to the hostess who acknowledged texting us and said we would be seated in a few minutes. After 10 more minutes of waiting inside, we left and went to another restaurant.

We came as a family group of nine, it appears that this restaurant can’t cope with a group of this size. Drinks were spilt over 3 of us at the start of the meal, four of the 8 meals ordered arrived cold, we raised this with the waiting staff and when the warm meals arrived back on the table all the order was wrong, this was all raised with management and they weren’t willing to do much if anything to rectify the issues. Decor was good, as was the music.
