We have visited Pelican for the last 5 years and this time was really good. The cheese mushroom omelette and the salmon benedict as very good as always. But the waffle is the best. Very light and really tasty.

Discovered this great little local place on TripAdvisor! So happy we tried it -- will definitely go back again! Large variety of food from duck, lamb, beef to pasta and seafood. Short ribs and shrimp scampi over angel hair was excellent! Bottles of wine were high priced. Serving staff was wonderful! Can eat on heated porch or inside. Renovated home... More

I wish se had found this restaurant years ago! But glad we just did. The service is over the top! From the point of making a reservation, which I highly suggest, to the servers....it was perfect. Very attentive. The music is a bit loud for such a small restaurant, however it is very tasteful. We enjoyed it. The food was... More

Celebrated our dads 81 here for brunch. Ate outside under the canopy and it was really nice. Not sure why they serve donuts first and not last. Had to remove them, so our grandson would eat his breakfast first. But they are good! I had the huevos rancheros and chorizo. Good but it was all cold, and so was my... More

The Pelican Cafe is one of our favorite restaurants in South Florida. We live in Boca Raton, and twice monthly we drive 45 minutes north to this GEM of a restaurant! Everything is made to order and is fresh, fresh, fresh! Amazing appetizers, salads, soups and scrumptious entrees! Wonderful weekly entertainment, especially Jill & Rich on Thursday nights! The owners... More

The Pelican Cafe and the owners Mark and Karen Frangione remind me of the lyrics form Cheers "Wouldn't you like to get away? Sometimes you want to go -- Where everybody knows your name, and they're always glad you came .... THIS IS THAT PLACE - the owners are almost always on site and giving personal attention to everyone, the... More

7 reviews 2/16/2017 Read some of the reviews and expected a nice evening with friends. We arrived on time for 7 pm reservation for four. On entering the noise level was deafening. We were immediately seated, given water and beverages and in a few minutes placed our order with a waiter who was obviously a bit harried. There was a... More

Dear Malpractice NY: We'll let your handle name speak for itself. You are correct..." we were more concerned about our Server" - because we don't tolerate customers who grab, grope and denigrate our staff and then stiff them a tip. We suggest that if you want to dine quietly reserve a table at 6 PM not 7 PM prime time... More
