Indian food! Nestled in the heart of Coconut Grove, Bombay Darbar, with a new and larger location, bustles with happy diners, with seating inside and out. Afraid of the heat? Choose your level, and enjoy. A large group of friends, we shared appetizers and entrees and everything was really great. Impressed with the service in spite of a totally booked... More

We're in coconut for the day and were walking past this restaurant. Loving Indian food we enquired about a table that night and got it booked there and then. Arrived and seated promptly. Nice poppadoms and sauces to start with samosa. I had a great lamb rogan josh and the wife had the korma with peswari nan. Nice sized sized... More

Great Indian restaurant in Miami - few options in Miami but Bombay Darbar would hold its own in other cities - food is fresh and tasty - waiters are friendly, a very good option

We had a delicious dinner here after red eye flight to Miami and busy day running around downtown Miami and Coral Gables. A must visit when you are round the area. Very famous for delicious Indian food. Must try the Mango chicken curry, the best. The lamb vindaloo is also very good. They take reservations, we didn't, but waited only... More

Conveniently located near parking, this is a congenial place to go with friends. Not quiet - wouldn't call this a romantic night out, but the service and the food were excellent. Particularly enjoyed the lamb biryani.

We enjoyed the delicious northern Indian dishes. As a large family with both vegetarians and carnivores, adults and children-the menu was varied enough to please all of us!

I love Indian food, but is hard to find good places. I have visited India three times, so I can say I have tried "the real deal". Bombay Darbar brought many memories of the flavors and textures of Indian food, it was great. Chickpeas were amazing, chicken tika masala and lentils were also very good. Service is pristine, you can... More

Another Indian restaurant in a western country that literally heaps in the grease, in place of well-prepared fresh ingredients. Extra fat does not always equate to a good meal. We had vegetable samosas to start, which were okay. For mains, we had saag paneer and Goan fish curry... which were heavy and greasy. I know Indian food can be known... More

Our dining room dining room falls somewhere between red-velvet regal and Slum Dog casual, with white table linens, fresh roses and vinyl-coated menus. There's gentle, tinkling music, authentic if slightly wooze-inducing incense and, for better weather, a petite patio.

Our menu is centered mostly on the northern half of the country but includes fiery Goan specialties and henna-red vindaloo. Our knowledgeable, welcoming and sincere staff makes ordering easy for novices. Meals begin with a complimentary stack of crisp pappadom with thimbles of thick-cut onion chutney and a green-as-fresh-cut-grass coriander version for dipping. A side order of mixed chutneys yields store-bought but no less delicious sour mango pickle and sweet mango chutney.

Come visit our lovely, value-priced dreamy addition to Coconut Grove!
