We were recommended this place by a local and loved it. It is a little off the beaten track and doesn't look that much from the outside ( I would probably have ignored it). However, glad we didn't... the service was great and the food lovely.

Referred to this place by one of my coworker, the place has its on parking (No charge), food proportion and prices are extremely affordable. Didn't find anything of my dislike. Family was pleased and I was happy. Will recommend, two thumbs up!

As part of a food tour, we stopped by David's and had some Cuban coffee and a guava/cream cheese pastry. Both were awesome!

Really good varieties of a delicious Cuban sandwich. Great spot for lunch. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Quaint little on the street spot - not too big. Still feels like a mom/pop restaurant. Flan and tiramisu were home cooked and tasty. If you go to Miami Beach, this is a must!!

We met here for a food tour and I am so glad we did! We had our first Cuban coffee and a Cuban sandwich. Everything was very good and the service was friendly. I would definitely recommend trying David's Cafe! (We did the "Food Tours of Miami" with Faruk and had a great time!)

Description
Nearly a year after closing its Collins Avenue location, the iconic 40-year-old Cuban cafe alights on Alton Road, settling into a smaller SoBe space with blue-and-black tiled floors and its signature walk-up window where locals get their morning cafecito fix. The menu includes breakfast staples like fried eggs and bacon, plus classics like Cubano Sandwich and churrasco (grilled beef) that never grow old.
