This is not a restaurant but a food by the pound place that you can pretend to eat in like a restaurant. Honestly pick up your food and go hone to eat it. Food is decent not incredible. Prices reasonable not cheap. Quality decent not fantastic. If you are not in the mood to cook but want to eat home... More

Went today to Palacios and the food was great. We were having a thanksgiving party and it was great. The price seems to be going up but the quality is staying great.

This is a sit down/take out local's favorite, and welcoming to the hungry visitor looking for a taste of great Cuban-style food. Pulled pork, fried pork skin, fresh juices that make you order another round! The taste rivaled Puerto Rico's La Ruta del Lechón in this traveler's opinion. Enormous portions and delicious tostones appetizers. We left with huge amounts of... More

Every time I need to get my Cuban fix of guayaba con queso or some type of fresh fruit drink this is where I go. Try the chicharrones, fried pig fat with skin and a bit of meat thrown in. Take out some food by the pound or freshly made mariquitasor yuquitas. Your cardiologist will scold you but you aren't... More

Popped in El Palacio after my flight in and grabbed a Media Noche on my way to the beach. It was so easy finding the place in my rental car, parked and was out with sandwich in hand within 10 min. The sandwich was delicious. So happy I popped by and enjoyed some Latin flavor!

An early dinner and El Palacio looked interesting. We had driven past earlie, so knew not to expo luxury. It's a Cuban takeaway with a covered, but open air seating area. With tropical rainstorms all day, some cover was definitely needed. So to the place itself. Great range of food, with seafood and fish counter, juices and fruit and the... More

We stopped here on the way to the Viernes Culturales festival. It was pouring rain but the place was packed. Huge portions of Cuban food (we had plantains, chicken, and rice and beans- our plate must have weighed 2 pounds!). We also had a mango/coconut juice that was to die for!

The food at this cafeteria style restaurant is amazing! They have low prices and huge portions! You have to try their homemade juices; passion fruit is my favorite. My husband and I go to Miami once a year to visit family, and we usually end up eating here 90% of our stay :-)

Thank Marissa M
