We ate dinner here on Valentine's day, the food was amazing the service was top notch our waiter kept constantly checking up on us making sure everything was ok and if we needed anything. My wife had one of the special they were offering can't remember what it was but she loved it and I had a nice delicious steak... More

The view from the restaurant is a trip. Hot cars, hot people, and South Beach lights combine to make for a delectable evening. The wait staff was attentive but it did take a little time to get our bill. The food was perfect. We both had fish. Great evening.

Had a wonderful dinner with efficient and gracious service. The pompano special couldn't have been better and my husband's steak was perfect. Will definitely return.

Chose this restaurant because we wanted to fancy fish dinner on a special night. We did not disappoint, the food was excellent thus a bit overpriced. But OK, Christmas is just once a year! Service was excellent, the restaurant room well kept and neat.

I was looking for a restaurant in South Beach with a view of the ocean. This one was by far one of the nicest ones because it did not have loud blaring music or hostesses barking offers of 2-for-1 drinks. We sat outside and saw the moon rise over the ocean. I split the seafood paella (normally for two). It... More

This place is definitely one of the best if not the best dining establishments on Ocean Drive. We always visit when in Miami and are never disappointed...Yes of course a bit pricey but it is South Beach and the food is quality unlike some of the other restaurants that charge an arm and a leg and give you a low... I really enjoyed the dinner at Avalon. Fish perfectly cooked with fresh vegetables and surprisingly rich dessert. Also sk for an espresso after the meal.

Lovely, friendly, accommodating wait staff. Presentation of food was lovely. The food itself was fabulous and prepared perfectly. There was only seating outside on street level when we arrived for our reservation available and the air was a bit cool from the breeze off the Ocean. Reservation definitely recommended.

Honestly, the entree (seafood orzo) was absolutely terrible and even after asking to talk to the manager and not eating our entree... I left even more hungry then when I arrived, and extremely pissed off. The lobster, scallops, calamari, and mussels were so chewy and rubbery, and the orzo was completely mushy. The server was awesome, and it was not... More
