Went for Sunday lunch and a drink recently. Great lunch and drinks, but I know there are now lots of dog lovers , but not everyone is, especially When the pub dog sat there begging while we were eating, at one stage it tried to get up on my lap after my food, not good enough I'm afraid and spoil... Hello, very sorry for your Canine experience, 'Pip' the dog is about when we are working for various reasons, but is not usually that extreme in her behaviour, and I can only apologise once again. Please do give us another try, when you are about, and please speak to me, so I can make amends. Peter Fryar, owner. More

Quaint little country pub that serves very nice home made food. I tried their chilli con carne and asked for it to be hot and it came out as requested nice and hot, it was also very tasty and a good portion size too. My partner had the steak and ale & pie which was excellent. I'm not really a... More

Nice for a drink. Went with family. Nice views behind pub. Road in front. Garden has some sun/shade. Kids play area 'tired' but not really needed as plenty of garden. Wanted quick bite to eat - all ordered burgers - terrible. Not recommended for food. But 'maybe' try another meal as other reviews read better - let's hope we just... More

Lovely place, plenty of atmosphere, great food with excellent service, with the added bonus that we could use the field as an overnight camper an stopover. We'll definitely be back.

I had a great time at the Rose and Crown the other evening. After walking from Worcester, I was provided with some much needed refreshment and made to feel really welcome. There was a trio of lovely barmaids behind the bar. I had a great laugh with the regular guests and I had a few decent beers.

Nice for a quick bite to eat. When on a Sunday on the way back from Malvern and they still had space for a booking of 8 - the back restaurant was empty. It was nice and very reasonable but lacked a bit of atmosphere but I think this was because we were in the back room as we were... More

I visited The Rose & Crown for lunch with a friend. I am vegan, he is vegetarian. I asked for information about their three bean chilli, which it turns out is not made by the chef but is bought in ready made. Nobody knew if it was vegan and the conclusion from the kitchen was that "it probably has butter... More

Thankyou for your review, and we are mortified about the response on that day from that Chef. The Three Bean Chilli is bought in, for various reasons, but is a lovely dish, and is suitable for Vegans. I can only apologise that this particular Chef had not been properly briefed, and just hope that you will call in on another... More

We went for an evening meal on Valentine's day. When you enter the pub through the front door, the bar is just to your left and a welcoming log fire to your right. The pub has two dining rooms. There is a large modern dining room and small dining room to the left of the bar. The small dining room... More

We are a 500 year old Village Pub with a Dining Room, and very large Beer Garden.

The Pub sits just off the A38, between Worcester, and Tewkesbury, and neatly either side of Junction 1, M50, and Junction 7, of the M5. Amid some lovely walking country being just half a mile from the River Severn, and close to the National Trust estate of Croome Court with it's Capabiliity Brown landscapes, and the secret wartime Radar research airfield of RAF Defford.

We are open for Food from 12noon to 9.30Pm, seven days a week, and have a wide ranging main Menu, of items you would expect to find in a Pub, plus others that give a variety, and are more unusual. We also have a Lite Bite menu of smaller portions, starting at £5.80, And a Childrens Menu.
