The food is absolutely amazing and the service is good. It's what you'd expect of a small family owned Caribbean restaurant but with the food quality of a well established chef. You'll have to trek away from the city or beach but the food is well worth the trip.

My wife and eat here three times a week when we are in Miami/Ft. Lauderdale. I love their soups and sweet and sour tofu with rice and peas. She goes for brown stew chicken. Simply the best place to go if you want real JA cooking.

I had an appointment nearby and I read your reviews and want to try something different, so I came here. I've had homemade Jamaican food in the past, being a lucky guest at other friends homes who are Jamaican. And in May, I ate in Ocho Rios Jamaica as I was on a cruise. Of all public Jamaican cuisine have... More

For those of us Jamaicans in the area, this is a place to come to on a regular basis. I had the ackee and calaloo with a couple fried dumplings. Food was prepared exquisitely and in a timely fashion. The staff was also extremely friendly and upbeat. The restaurant is small but bright and inviting. I suggest this to family... More

My usual Caribbean standby V&G was closed on a Sunday, and this place was on the Google maps - so I decided to give it a try. Long story short - now I have two favorite places for Jamaican food. Coconutz is a little place that is clearly quite popular with locals. Service is haphazard and your order could take... More

Small authentic feeling Jamaican takeout restaurant with a few tables that has a full vegetarian menu. We had vegetarian jerk "chicken" and it was so good we came back three days later on our return trip to the airport. Don't let the exterior deter you. The food was phenomenal, the place was clean and he staff very friendly.
