We took our neices here for ice cream when they visited us, nice place to take a breather while touring the town.

The seating area is limited, probably 2 tables in the inside and 2 tables outside. To sit by the window is a cozy feel, but overall, I felt a little smooshed once 5 people came in altogether (I'm 110 lbs). The beverage was average.
We walked Donally street then took an ice cream break - this home made ice cream was great!! We sat down on the side walk tables/chairs and watched the world go by for 20 mins - was really great. The child's small was plentiful! Nothing larger needed, the ice cream was rich and umptious! Yum!
Customer service is top of the line and the food is excellent. I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting the Mt. Dora area or to any resident looking for a hangout.
We were passing through town on a drive and wanted a quick cup of coffee. This was the perfect spot as it was not very busy. There was a large variety of pastries and biscuits. They offer soy and almond milk as alternatives.
Join the line of Ice Cream lovers and coffee drinkers as you wait and are served as quickly as possible in this quaint small establishment. Welcoming warm but the line moves pretty rapidly. The coffee drinks are made with Ghiradelli chocolate and syrups so you know they are going to be tasty.. Ice Cream wow great looking cones, cups and... More
The ice cream was really good and the guy was welcoming! Accidentally I left the door open and the girl worker mumbled angry words under her breath and was not welcoming at all for our visit. My mom before leaving asked what time they closed and she bluntly ignored my mother... extremely upset... and I'm never one to complain.
I'm a Starbucks loyal customer, so I rate all other coffee shops against Starbucks. Village Coffee Pot of Mount Dora has a very good cappuccino and latte. Enjoyed sitting at a sidewalk table watching the passersby.
After lunch at The Lost Parrot and walking around Mt. Dora, we opted for something cool to eat and stopped at this small place. Ice cream is delicious and cones are huge. Excellent choice of flavors, very, very good
