Return visit to the falls but popped in first to check on the availability of a full breakfast for three, after viewing the waterfall and was told they did cook brekkies but only served up to 11am. We walked into the cafe a couple of minutes before and took a seat and waited to be served....and waited.....and waited, whilst plenty... More

Having not been to Pistyll Rhaeadr for many years I went on a day trip for the day. the eaterfall is as dramatic as ever and the tea room has undergone improvements to the building since my last visit. Beware as there is a £3.00 charge to use the car park..not sure why?? We had already parked further down the... More

We had our dog with us,so we sat outside, down a few steps, there was a wooden gazebo, with a picnic table in it. The menu looked good, everything from fish & chips, baked potatoes, soup, sandwiches & cakes. We opted for prawn mayonnaise hoagies, which came with salad & homemade coleslaw. We also had coffee & cake. The hoagies were lovely & soft and packed with... More

A place to sit and have some refreshment after walking up to the top of the waterfall, a perfect place to rest, and you have the added bonus of sitting outside to look at where you have just walked.

We were stopping at the waterfall to break up our journey, we decided to eat at the cafe whilst we were here. The food was basic and to be honest a few pounds more expensive than I thought it was worth, but, it was okay. Basic ham eggs and chips, lovely ham and the eggs had been fried in butter... More

Easily the worst meal I've ever paid for. Cheap ready made cottage pie; 80% gluey mashed potato, 5% burnt cheese, 15% dry mince served with frozen veg, bland frozen chips (who knew chips could be this tasteless?!)band instant gravy. I've never written a Tripadvisor review before, but then I've never felt so insulted as a customer before either. We didn't... More

At first you think this would be a nice place to sit and look at the waterfall, but being the only cafe they exploit that with serving mediocre food and charging about 20% over normal prices. Take a picnic
