I was asked if I had a reservation and I thought to myself "really"? Well let me tell you had I walked in 10 min later I would not have gotten a table. Word is out this place has great food!!! Authentic, flavorful and delicious!!! Really enjoyed our dinner here and don't forget to have a glass(or two) of their... More

Walking in I was a bit hesitant to eat here because of the wait and the size of the restaurant . DO NOT! Be discourage by this. The wait was well worth the wait. My family and I enjoyed the food and the service

We ordered the 1/2 chicken with fried ripe plantains option. The chicken was good but not as juicy as a perfectly cooked chicken. However, mixing their sauces together really adds to the chicken's flavor. The beans were delicious and the fried plantains were definitely a hit, and almost the best we've had... My own attempts at making fried plantains do... More

This spot was close to our hotel and had good reviews so we decided to try it. We were not disappointed. We had the rotisserie chicken, rice, beans and plantains. The chicken was juicy, tender and the meat fell off of the bone. It was seasoned to perfection and the meal was accompanied by two of their sauces: a mild... More

This small 10 table Peruvian restaurant had lots of rotisserie chicken options. The food was good, simple, fast with friendly service and only a few dollars. It is in a strip mall but charming inside. I would recommend it for its convenient location for those staying near Universal.

We wanted something different than Disney and chain restaurants for a day so we found Pio Pio after a recommendation from a friend. We were pleasantly surprised - the outside doesn't look like much, and it is rather small inside, but that's not why we went. The food was great - fish, chicken, patacones, plantains, chorizo, even Aguila beer, they... More

Great Peruvian food as a whole, the chicken dish we shared was very good, but the Ceviche was amazing! If you like Ceviche, or Peruvian food check this place out

Very friendly atmosphere and the popularity is testimony to the good food. The papas criollas and yuca were a treat, washed down with colombiana

I had the pleasure to have dinner with some colleagues here! The food was extremely delicious! Service on point! It might not look so pretty from the outside. The plaza is old and looks like it needs renovation but the food makes up for it!! Definitely recommend if looking for peruvian/colombian food in the area.
