Food and service were both very good. It's an open air restaurant, so it is a little noisy, but comfortable. Everyone enjoyed their meals.

Came for the first time to get the coveted tonga toast. It was hard to cut through, had whole bananas that were soggy and hot but big enough to be unappetizing, and was just not that flavorful. I was disappointed. I would still consider it tasty but will be canceling my future reservation. I had it with the compote and... More

This probably deserves a better rating but truthfully, we only eat here when we can't get into 'Ohana's. We order the food that is found at 'Ohana - the potstickers, salad, chicken wings, and lo mein. It's very good but they make you wait even if there is no line and the restaurant looks empty. The service is not great.... More

Kona Kafe is my favorite on-site, non-character restaurant for breakfast on property at Walt Disney World. I have eaten here for 45 years and usually only have good things to say about it as they have one of my favorite foods on the planet: Tonga Toast. As a matter of fact, I don't think that I have ever eaten anything... More

Everyone enjoyed their meals. Tonga toast and the coffee were the standouts. They did a great job with dealing with my son's food allergies as well

Located in the beautiful Polynesian Resort hotel Kona Cafe is well worth a visit if you need a filling and tasty breakfast. I went for the famous Tonga toast, two huge banana filled slices of French toast dipped in cinnamon with some Kona coffee. I thoroughly enjoyed it and only left a tiny piece. Make sure you ask for a... More

We ate here several times during our stay and every time we had great service, food and fun. It has a very interesting menu and since we ate here several time, we tried many different menu items. The desserts are still very fun and tasty, too.

We were smart enough to make a reservation....the place was packed all night. The food was tasty, and the dumplings were among the best that I have had anywhere. The server was attentive, and dessert topped off the experience.

The waitress put our order in wrong and as a result, the server brought only one stake for my wife and I. I told him we ordered 2 steaks and he seemed pretty disinterested. The Waitress came by and we told her the problem and she suggested gave us a plate to divide it while the other was being cooked.... More

On the second floor of the Disney's Polynesian Resort guests can dine at the Kona Cafe on South Pacific style foods. While my wife dined on the Pan Seared Duck Breast, I had the Kona Coffee-rubbed Pork Chop. We both enjoyed our meals. The service was great and the only distraction for us was that our table was too close... More

Indulge in the scrumptious cinnamon and banana-stuffed Tonga Toast or choose from a variety of more savory breakfast options like a variety of egg dishes and pineapple macadamia nut pancakes. At midday, satisfy your hunger with an Island chicken sandwich and housemade sweet potato chips, shrimp and scallops, or other tasty entrees. Dine in the evening on delicacies such as a selection of fresh fish, grilled ginger-crusted ribeye steak or coconut almond chicken. As you enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of this Polynesian restaurant, feast your eyes across the onstage open pastry kitchen that prepares divine desserts.
