This is as good as it gets - this was one of the best tasting meals of my life and I am old and have had a lot of them (most recently in Chicago). We have a long (25+ year) history with this restaurant -...I wrote a glowing review about them for a Christmas Eve meal in the Victoria Room in 12/16 ("Year After Year - The Best of the Best"). But unbelievably they just keep getting better! There was a line in the sand after the pandemic closure and they rose to the occasion! After reopening, seasoned chefs all had an opportunity to move up. Looking at the older food pictures, food preparation and plating have been elevated to a whole new level; the flavors are beyond exquisite. Wine service, glassware and tableware have been substantially enhanced; the restaurant now provides only a single seating throughout each venue with a substantial boost to already incredible and gracious service standards. Due to the pandemic closure, their exquisite wine cellar inventory is still intact (almost a time capsule) with the bottles beautifully organized on a smart pad which is very easy to peruse. So did the price go up? Of course. But you are buying an entree (pun intended) into a truly world class dining experience. The flavors are amazing combinations you have never encountered before. We recently enjoyed their caviar course which was presented on a small dollop of bone marrow mousse - not elements that I would have said would pair well but now you have to come and judge for yourselves. :-)More

The service was top notch, the ambiance lovely, the food pedestrian and the prices ridiculous. I’ve eaten at many fine restaurants and had amazing meals at half the price.

We came here on our honeymoon a few weeks ago and what can I say this was place was incredible. Pros: - staff were amazing, we felt so appreciated by them, they were knowledgable, friendly, really made us feel so special. Big shout out to...our servers and the harpist Elizabeth who came and spoke to us too - food is sensational, every bite was delicious and you could tell every component had been carefully thought of - loved that each course had a different set up with cutlery and that little poof that is to put your handbag on - i’m a fussy eater and the menu was well catered and amended to my tastes, there were a few things I wouldn’t normally eat but they made it taste so good - we upgraded our menu and got the Langoustines and Wagyu and they were completely worth it - we requested a few songs for the harpist to play and it was beautiful to listen to - one of the maitre d’s was kind enough to walk us out of the hotel and through the resort all the way to the path back to Polynesian hotel Cons: - the only con is that there was so much food to eat, although plates are small there are so many courses plus bread courses in between, I was completely full half way through so need a bigger stomach to come back here! - they generously packed up the desserts for us though and they were delicious the next day but no way could I have managed it then and there - it is an expensive meal but it was completely worth it for the experience Overall would highly recommend for a fine dining experience, this place is not for children or those who in a rush or probably don’t like seafood either, you will be here for several hours. If you are open to trying new dishes cooked really well then it’s a must do. Huge thank you again to everyone at Victoria & Albert’s, never have I cried when a salmon dish was served to me before but the atmosphere and experience you all created there was just so magical and emotional.More

EXCELLENT! The food was sublime, and the wine-pairing impeccable. The service exceptional. The ambiance, beautiful. The cost was just shy of $1,500 for two - the cost of a weekend trip away I suppose - so for a very special occasion it is the perfect...3-hour getaway!More

This was a DINNER EXPERIENCE. We seek out memorable dining experiences. This remains one of the five top dining experiences of our lifetime. It is expensive. One knows that upfront. The setting is elegant. There is one amazing course after another, each exquisitely presented, almost...like a work of art. The pace is unhurried. This IS your evening's entertainment. I cannot recall if there was a harp or piano being played. This was a few years ago, but it was background music, as it should have been. I cannot comment on more recent reviews. I was glad that there were few children in so elegant a place. I cannot imagine most children sitting for that long a time. There may have been changes, but the experience we had remains a superb one. This was longer agoMore

Incredible food matched by equally incredible service. We forgot to book in advance of our Disney World trip but were able to get a reservation the same week. I wouldn’t plan on that always being possible but worth a shot. My wife and I love...tasting menus with wine pairings and this is easily one of the best we’ve ever had. Every bite is delicious and feels like the best thing you’ve ever eaten. The wine pairing is a lot of wine, but since when is that a problem?!!More

This is fine dining at its finest. Victoria & Albert's is Orlando's only AAA Five-Diamond restaurant for several reasons. Located at 4401 Floridian Way in Walt Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, on Bay Lake, it is a high end Disney destination for fixed-price New...American cuisine in Victorian-style environs. It is the crown jewel of the Walt Disney World Resort, offering an exquisite and intimate upscale dining experience with nightly harpists, lavish decor, fresh cut flowers, personalized menus, Italian Sambonet silver, Royal Doulton and Wedgewood china and Italian Frette tablecloths. Women get small stools for handbags and a rose to carry home. Gentlemen get the bill. Choose from two tasting menus. Reservations are required. So is a dinner jacket for gentlemen but a tie is optional. Plan for 2 to 2 1/2 hours dining time. There are only 14 tables in the room. Victoria & Albert's is open from 5:30 to 8:05 Tuesday through Saturday. So what do you get for all of this largesse? Start with Imperial caviar with Alaskan King crab and New Zealand largoustine with passion fruit. Then sample Glacier 51 Tooth Fish and Nantucket scallops and maple-glazed Manchester quail. Where's the beef? Coming up. Texas wild boar and Australian Kobe/style beef. Finally, the sweets. Cheese and vanilla gelato with plum compote and white chocolate and Trinitario chocolate mousse and avocado gelato. For someone who had never tasted caviar, there is a first time for everything. This was the time.More

Finally got to go back to Victoria and Albert's this past September to check out the revamp. The folks I went with were extremely impressed, but I felt it was not the same - not as good. I doubt I'll be back. I don't like...the new interior, which I find somewhat stark and cold and not very interesting. I liked our waiter(s) enough. Rather than just one we had two nice gentlemen bringing us things. I preferred the previous staff set up which was one main server the entire time and a few support folks who would come by and do things when necessary. I don't like the new menu / set up. The new paper menu with my name on the envelope looks pitiful when laid next to my old menus - with my name in calligraphy and the gold accents on the cover and menu inside. I LOVED the old six course menu. Two smaller plates (appetizers), a fish course, a meat course, a cleanse, and then dessert. AND, you had two choices for each and a third choice to upgrade for a charge for each. Perfect. No longer. Now, it is a set menu. Ten course (so they say, but it's really 7). And it's all small plate. It was extremely well done in terms of plating (all little pieces of art work - incredible), and it was fantastic in terms of flavors and all... but... I'm not a fru fru eater. I like extreme quality in luxurious settings, but I don't need my plate to tell a story, thanks... I prefer to have the food hit my tong and scramble my brain and body with joy and surprise rather than listen to how special someone thinks something is. I won't say it was a bad time, but I will say it is not the same and for me not nearly as good as it was.More

This was wonderful. The graciousness of the staff. The wine pairing and the non alcoholic pairing was fantastic. Yes it’s expensive but there is no better quality attention to detail and deliciousness in Florida. This is on par with any Michelin Star

I’ve been to this restaurant several times but hadn’t returned in 20 years. I was pretty excited when my husband surprised me with a visit as it’s always so hard to get reservations and we aren’t the best at planning ahead. It’s always been one...of my most cherished memories. Pros: The food was even better than I remembered it. The chef does a fantastic job. Each dish was presented beautifully. We tried the 0% proof (non alcoholic) pairing and it was a really unique experience. It was a nice touch when we were too full to send most of our dessert home. The service was top notch. The servers were so well educated and loved to share the information with their guests. Service was honestly as good as it could possibly get. I couldn’t think of a single suggestion to say for food or service. Cons: It just wasn’t as magical as it used to be. It just flat out wasn’t. The new decor is actually boring. It’s a shame really. The carvings on the pillars and ceiling were truly lovely but because they were all stark white they really weren’t popping. Table clothes were white. Flowers were white. No artwork on the walls. Tables set very separately where it previously felt cozy this felt stark. Lighting is super off. Nothing reminding you of Victoria and Albert which I think used to be part of the service theming. Special touches were sadly missing and those were my favorite parts previously. The gorgeous menus which used to have a seal and your name written in gold calligraphy had been replaced with a paper menu with our names printed on the outside of the envelope from a regular printer. Last time we visited we each got a gorgeous long stem rose. Nothing special like that this time. Even the Turkish coffee pot which so mesmerized me last time seemed smaller and more cheeply made. Lastly Zero value. Felt sick inside paying $1175 with tip for a dinner for two people when only one of us did any pairing and that was non alcoholic. We were celebrating a very special occasion and wanted to be pampered but really there just is no value.More

V&A remains one of my favourite dining experiences any where. Service is its top performer at least on par with traditional 3 star establishments. Food was top notch with most dishes perfectly executed and flavors well balanced. Of the 11 or so courses 9 were...very good or great while 2 were average or good. Wine pairings were reasonable value (for that level of dining) but underwhelming. A premium pairing option would be a nice addition. Dining reno seemed to largely be a change in the color scheme, I personally preferred the more opulant decor in the old joint. Bottom line if you are a foodie and into michelin star dining V&A remains a must visit.More

We dined at Victoria and Albert's on Saturday and we were blown away by the exceptional customer service and amazing meal! We enjoyed every dish and our services (Robyn and Craig) were incredible. I broke my shoe before I walked into the restaurant and Craig...appeared with spa slippers since walking in 1 heel is little challenging. Their attention to every detail was incredible! Chef Mathew came out and talked to each table for a while. This was more than dinner but a whole dining experience. Definitely a worthwhile bucket list dinner!More
