Location and contact

The Corner House dates back to the 1830’s and has been a hostelry, wheelwrights and blacksmiths before being given a facelift and the new name of The Corner House in 2012. First and foremost now - it's all about our passion for good food, a warm welcome and friendly service. All dishes are freshly prepared by Head Chef Ross and his talented kitchen team, who only use the freshest and finest ingredients from the best local suppliers, with seasonal variation ensuring menus change frequently. Families are very welcome - with a children's menu for younger guests and vegetarian options are always available. Our set Lunch Menu offers plenty of delicious dishes , whilst our A la Carte is available

On entering it was a let down. The décor was dull and a mish mash of styles. Brown tables and chairs with a massive jet black gothic chandelier covering a pair of large paintings of what I assume were flamenco dancers. A couple of feature...More

Called in 'on spec' for an early Friday evening meal. The car park was fairly full which is generally a good sign, however despite having no reservation we were seated straight away. Staff were very friendly and efficient. The menu was not as extensive as...More

One of the few restaurants in the area where we take friends. The food is always good, there's a wide choice and there's plenty of it. The staff are always friendly and helpful.
