Went to dinner with our daughter's family, only one entrée (salmon) was judged okay. Fish tacos, shrimp tacos, mahi, lobster bisque were very disappointing. Maybe we just didn't pick the best choices. Despite the poor food, all of the employees, from the boat taxi, to host/hostess, waitress were extremely service oriented and very courteous. We wish the food would have... More

With friends for a celebration lunch, the Rum Bay Smash will knock you out after 2 of them. Food was excellent, service excellent, went by boat but water taxi runs every 30 minutes. A great Florida experien,

Took family out on boat from Cape Haze Marina to try Rum Bay for the first time. Garrett, the dock master was very friendly and accommodating. As you walk the boardwalk through the mangroves, the smells of spices and delicious food lures you in. We got there after the 11:30 taxi and the place was crowded. We got a table... More

Pleasant waitress, good food, good portions. The restaurant is nicely decorated and reflects the island/ Florida locale.

I need to post about the boat ride as for most, this is how you get there. A $6/person charge for the ride will make it special with a 15 minute ride to Rum Bay. Most seats are inside with a few outside on the balcony, very nice seats, but don't expect a water view! You get that on the... More

We enjoyed our evening at Rum Bay. Sat outside on the patio. Excellent server. The inside was crowded with a large party, but our server made sure we were well looked after. The ahi tuna appetizer was delicious and the blackened grouper and fish and chips were first rate. Liked the local craft beer. Saw sunset on the boat on... More

It was an enjoyable evening because we were with friends, but we were not crazy about the food. Our server was very good, very attentive & friendly. He answered all of our questions.

Nice atmosphere. Fish tacos were yummy and larger than expected. Pork BBQ sandwich I was told was yummy. Kids had wings typical taste.

This restaurant is located on an island populated by property owners and resort guests. Others like us take a water taxi from behind Leverocks Restaurant. The taxi is $6 per person and takes 10-12 minutes. We enjoyed the ride over and back. The restaurant is large. The menu for lunch is pretty extensive. Our group of 6 enjoyed fish tacos,... More
