This restaurant is excellent. Great food, poor service outside. We were waiting for our waitress for more than 15 minutes to get to al us for our choices, food was cold. Even if the restaurant is crowed...we are also paying for good service and good food,, but unfortunately we were very disappointed.

My husband and I had an early New Year's Eve dinner there. We did have reservations which was a good thing as they were busy, even in the middle of the afternoon. We've been to the Columbia many times before and it has always been good with excellent service. My husband had the boliche and I had crab cakes, we... More

Let me start by saying I live in Miami, so Cuban restaurants are everywhere here. While the food was very good, it is also overpriced for what it is. The restaurant is very nice, though, and pleasing to the eye. That said, I get the feeling that the restaurant mostly caters to tourists and people who generally can't get Cuban... More

My husband and I were in St. Augustine to celebrate our 18th Wedding Anniversary and when he asked me where I'd like to go to dinner this was my pick. He called and made the reservation, saying that it was our Wedding Anniversary and asked if they could accommodate with a cozy table for 2 tucked away in a corner... More

Go for the festive atmosphere, food so so of course some people love it, suspect it must be the wine.

If you are looking for a fantastic, authentic Spanish Restaurant with great atmosphere and service... the Columbia is your best bet! A wee bit pricey if you are getting a complete meal, but you have other smaller portion options and appetizers to choose from. The only negative about this restaurant is the wait if you do not have a reservation.... More

We made reservations on a Sunday night at 6:45pm. We were seated promptly. The server explained the dishes and offered suggestions. We got the sangria and it was good. I got the vegetarian paella and it was perfect. Would def go back!!!

This well known place features authentic Cuban cuisine. To get the most of your visit, take advantage og the free parking provided behind the restaraunt. Just get a ticket, have it signed when you pay your tab, and the parking is no charge. Once you enter, ask to be seated upstairs, in the bar. Take time to slow down at... More

I arrived at about 11:25 AM on Sunday & walked right in. When I left an hour later there was a line. I ordered Spanish Bean Soup, a Cuban sandwich, & a small 1905 salad. Plus a Mango Tango Margarita. Everything was excellent. The service was outstanding! I would absolutely return!

As a local I can tell you the Columbia is consistently good at both food and service. I am not sure I have ever had a bad meal there nor bad service. The staff is friendly and very attentive. The fresh bread and sangria are exceptional and worth the try. By far my favorite meal is the 1905 Salad that... More

Join us for century-old family recipes like Paella "a la Valenciana," Filet Mignon and fresh seafood specialties. Don't miss Columbia's Original "1905" Salad(R), prepared tableside with our delicious, freshly-made dressing, a 110-year-old family recipe of fresh garlic, oregano, wine vinegar and Spanish extra virgin olive oil. Be sure to sample a fine Spanish wine like Montecillo or Campillo. Relax in our courtyard or Mediterranean-style dining rooms, filled with hundreds of hand-painted tiles and Spanish-style fountains.
