Known for its Spanish Tapas, Columbia has also has a wonderful selection of seafood dishes. My husband enjoyed Grouper Bilbao baked in a clay dish layered with sliced potatoes, onion, EVOO, garlic and lemon. The fish was some of the finest we have eaten - and we are Florida residents! It was cooked fitm, moist and flavorful! Our dining companion... More

This place was amazing. They made our sangria in front of us and had fresh ingredients. Would recommend this place to anyone!

We were there for lunch. This place is huge, on 3 levels, but doesn't give that sort of impression as all the areas are separate and it also has an atrium area. The menu is varied. We had 1/2 Cuban sandwich with a 1905 salad put together at our table. Both were really good. If in the area, please stop... More

What can we say--we love this place. Have been here on more than one occasion and at different times of the year--it's always the same--just good!!! Start with the house Sangria--none better, the Cuban bread they serve is wonderful, hot and authentic. The 1905 Salad is a must--enough for two or have it as an entre'. The empanadas, black bean... Dinner was fantastic as usual. This was my birthday celebration dinner and it was wonderful! We have celebrated family birthdays for the past three decades! My parents are no longer with us but oh the fun we had at the Columbia when they were!!!

This is a nice place to go when on vacation or when you have time to relax and enjoy your dinner. The food was very good - we had the Paella and seafood cannelloni. Excellent service and wonderful Spanish atmosphere makes this a great place to bring visitors from out of town too.

First let me say, I am a local. Generally I frequent other restaurants in the area but decided to try it as a late valentine day celebration. I had a reservation and we were seated within 5 mins of our time. I had the grouper jimmy which was 30. I thought it would be amazing but boy was i disappointed.... More

Good food n a comfortable setting. Reservations are a Must. The cruise is Spanish influenced and is evident on all dishes. Portions are large and easily are enough for two.

During my recent trip to St. Augustine I had the pleasure of eating at Columbia Restaurant. Atmosphere is wonderful, you feel like you are dining in Barcelona. Service is great and our food was perfect in every way. My husband and I ordered the 1905 salad and it was by far the best salad I have every eaten. Cuban sandwich... More

So, heard this is the oldest restaurant. It is very charming both inside and out. There are photos of the owners in royal garb around the dining area. As I understand it, there are six dining rooms, although I only saw two or three. I ordered the Columbias Original salad which had iceburg, tomatoes, olives, onions, thin ham slices, thin... More

Description
Family-owned and operated for over 111 years, Columbia has earned acclaim for its old-world charm and award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine and wine list. Join us for century-old family recipes like Paella "a la Valenciana," Filet Mignon and fresh seafood specialties. Don't miss Columbia's Original "1905" Salad(R), prepared tableside with our delicious, freshly-made dressing, a 110-year-old family recipe of fresh garlic, oregano, wine vinegar and Spanish extra virgin olive oil. Be sure to sample a fine Spanish wine like Montecillo or Campillo. Relax in our courtyard or Mediterranean-style dining rooms, filled with hundreds of hand-painted tiles and Spanish-style fountains. We are a sister to the Columbia in Tampa's Ybor City, founded in 1905. Children's menu available. Casual attire is fine, but we don't allow sleeveless shirts on men. Open 365-days a year, including all holidays. Please visit our website for the most current menu listings.
