Reservations suggested even on a Sunday. Most popular. Venue decorated in tiles. Very clean. Friendly staff that greet you with a smile coming in and leaving too. Oh they make their own hot sause but not for sale. Rotating selection of sangria...we tried watermelon and...More

I have to say growing up around tons of authentic mexican restaurants I know what traditional Mexican food taste like and this place certainly lacks it. I'm not sure how in the world it has such good reviews, everyone has their opinion and they are...More

I have eaten here several times and the food has always been good but the atmosphere is not equal to the Red Mesa Cantina downtown. It could be from it's distance from the vibrant downtown of ST. Petersburg.

This Red Mesa has a long and deep menu with lots of good dining options to choose from. And diners will find the price is right and portions certainly more than adequate. We enjoyed the sangria too.

The food is very good and the service is excellent. Fernando was very helpful in suggesting our dinner. This was our first time there and they made a very good impression. We will be going back.

This is one of our favorite Mexican restaurants. Whenever we're in St. Pete, we try to go. We just went this month again, and OMG, the food just seems to be even better than it was, which I don't know how it's possible. I had...More

My wife and I ate here on a Friday night. We arrived around 815 and only had to wait less than five minutes to get a table. We were seated inside, which is fine, but the outside area definitely had more ambience. Service was great,...More

It's literally "whatever"! The place is so crowded and the kitchen clearly pushes food out in huge quantities sacrificing quality, taste, portion, and presentation for speed. Yet, we still waited forever because our server was too busy with too many tables. So we waited forever...More

Had dinner here the other night with my wife. Service impeccable. Food even better. Had the red snapper. Amazing. We have eaten here so many times over the past 20 years and never had a bad meal. This is a true treat.

Well, we have 3 Red Mesa's, all of which at one time or another have been accused of being noisy! But fortunately, not often. There's Red Mesa Restaurant, with more of a sit-down foodie oriented menu of regional Mexican... More
